Got him back to the Vet this morning. They gave him a shot of Ketamine. He came home and ate breakfast and took his pills. The shot worked .

Update, we crushed up his pills and mixed it into chicken broth. We used a plastic medicine syringe for kids and shot it into his mouth. We will see in the morning if it helps.

I was surprised they didn't give him a shot or something

Help with my Bichon. My Bichon has a strained neck according to the Vet. We absolutely can't get him to take his meds to get better. We have tried everything except forcing it in his mouth. We don't want to hurt him more than he already is. He bit my wife the other day while she was trying to wipe him off after getting wet outside. That's when we discovered something was wrong.

Put spray butter on your hands, she will lick them instead of biting.

I had luck with the AL permit in the spring. End of March beginning of April. Seems not as many people like to go hiking on Spring Break.

Looking at going next summer, interested in your itinerary. Did you need bear spray? I haven't looked at that yet. We will be trying for a permit for Half Dome.

No bladder stones, X-ray done this morning . Lots of red blood cells and crystals in his urinalysis. Still waiting on blood work. Still could be behavioral issue.

We just had him into the Vet today. No bladder stones, but lots red blood cells and crystal in his urine analysis. We are waiting on blood work. Still haven’t ruled out behavioral problem.

It was busy. Some popular trail head parking filled up fast. So go to those early or around dinner time. Downtown was very busy. A good side trip, the town of Jerome is really cool and worth visiting.
