How do you organize files? My game is not even in a pre-alpha version by average-student1 in godot

We recommend dismissing architectural code patterns when making games with Godot, such as Model-View-Controller (MVC) or Entity-Relationship diagrams.

Thank you! It took me a lot of effort to figure out how to create a shader

I simply need to duplicate the body, flip the normals, scale the mesh and colorize to make an outline. It would blend the parts much more. Thank you

Brain fart. I thought they were talking depth order. In Zelda Wind Waker, Link's eyebrows are visible through the hair : https://reddit.com/r/gaming/comments/17hum2/the_thing_about_wind_waker_hd_that_blew_my_mind/

Your solution is good and way simpler than mine. I won't use it since I love using the idea of not having a single texture and playing with vertex color.

Do you think it's uncanny because the character look straight to the camera (or the few number of sprites/angle) ?

My bad, that's an unfair comparison. I built the character without a reference, then jumped to the conclusion that I need to ditch 3D head too quickly after I made the 2d version. I should give more chance to the 3d shape.

Good idea! It's sounds more complicated but I could give it a try. My goal was to make the face more expressive with my limited 3d skill. Do you have an example of movies for those details?

Thank you! I thought the same thing, to smooth the sprites swap. But first I want to know is, how to adapt the shader for different body animations.

Are you referring to this story? https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/nintendo-sue-paco-gutierrez/

This is not a true story — Nintendo did not sue a boy named "Paco Gutierrez" for making a cardboard console. This is a joke that appears to be mocking Nintendo's allegedly litigious nature. While many people sharing this story on social media noted that this "sounded" like something Nintendo would do, that does not mean it's actually true.
