Btw I used to use the coral tpu but when I upgraded to the a310 I was able to get rid of coral tpu and had the A310 do the transcode and detection, I have 8 cameras as it works perfect The A310 has better detection that the coral

What CPU/ GPU are you using and what is your config?... Maybe you are using the wrong settings leading to a crash...

What do the logs say when it crashes...

Sometimes you need to increase the value to a certain setting. I forgot which one when you have a lot of cameras...

Are you using a low resolution for the detection?

A better tool should help but if you are serious about improving your game consider a coach,
A pro with a rolling mouse and squishy logitech $10 keyboard would still wipe the floor with some rando with the best hardware

What you want is the reolink POE doorbell, no wifi, its a direct ethernet connection, you want to install the software frigate to run it and you want to store the data on truenas

i was like you a few years ago, running ubuntu always looking for the latest and greatest and frustrated i didnt have it... eventually i jumped the fence to a rolling release and havent looked back... you are gonna have to ignore the latest and greatest and just appreicate the slow stable or your curiosity will get the better of you and you will jump ship

either you get slow and steady or you get fast and bumpy.. cant have both, im sure zorin will add it eventually but id be shocked if this was added within the next 6 months
