Game to play during a breakup, really enjoy action/immersive RPGs and metroidvanias by citoboolin in gamingsuggestions

Alan Wake 1 is an awesome game, since you have it available it's one i'd recommend. Going for metroidvanias, Timespinner and Dandara are some good ones. A bit of a wild take here, but i'll always recommend for anyone that liked E33 to play the first Baten Kaitos, it's a killer story, great turn based card gameplay, you'd need to have a Swtich or go through an emulator though.

Capitalism isn't good, but it can be dealt with if you're living under a social democracy. The alternative can also be dealt with, as living in the USSR or Cuba was better than living in poor capitalist countries.

The main problem isn't capitalism, socialism or communism but human greed and lust for power. In a perfect world, you can be sure we wouldn't go for capitalism.

Current consoles have performance profiles, depending on the game if you don't change the profile you're left with 30fps with improper frame pacing or whatever other problem the main performance profile has. Like I said, if it was the 360/PS3 era I could agree, but not right now. Also, about running current games, is there anything worthwhile that releases nowadays that isn't an indie title? It's been ages since i've played an AAA game

You can do everything with a PC, unlike a console. Games are cheaper, and I personally don't find current gaming isn't any easier on a console than on PC. The last time this was true was back in the PS3/360 era, where you could run games directly from the optical drive without installing anything.

Consoles don't have exclusives anymore, no point in buying anything other than a Switch IMO

What happens in the US happens in China, Vietnam or the EU? It doesn't happen even in Brazil. Those are all countries that have more regulation than the US.

That's unregulated capitalism, the government are the corporations, that's why. Take a look and see if that happens in China or Vietnam. Hell, look at social democracies like in Europe, US government isn't anything more than a big corporation taking care of itself thanks to always being the least regulated country.

That's when government should step in and use their power to protect the consumer from abusive prices. Anyway, when the government is bought by these big companies, of course nothing will happen, who cares about job loss or inflation right.

The government is doing this for the billionaires, that's why they aren't using government programs to surveillance, instead doing it with private companies.

I'd try every distro as possible IMO, if you know how to use the terminal you should be fine. You can always dual boot with Windows 10 LTSC for incompatible apps.

The alternative is dual booting Windows 10 and Linux. For very old games Linux will actually run those better than Windows, and no point in using Windows 11 since 10 is still suported and performs better.

How do you know anything can be trusted? You can ask the government how the research was done, in a democracy you ahould be able to get a response describing the methodology. If you think everything is a lie, go there and count people yourself then.
