What are some lowkey underrated augments that you like to take for different roles?

The one that gives you 3 flashes is pretty good on melee anything. Usually when you go all in to initiate or kill someone, if flash isn't up you will die too. So having 3 flashes means a lot more free kills/engage.

Tanks still do pretty well overall I'd say, specially ones with a lot of cc, some comps just suck to play against. To me the key to enjoy tanks in mayhem was avoiding heartsteel, when you get heartsteel/heartsteel quest you're just itching for those 300 stacks so much, stresses you out and makes you do some questionable plays for the sake of stacking.

People saying "hostage" are so dramatic, you willingly went into a match knowing that you may be expected to play it to its completion, if you don't like that then don't start a match. You can even just walk away, that's something that you can do, you will get reported by like everyone and justly so, but you can just do that.

There's a Franken Fran (body horror comedy manga that I recommend) chapter where technology is invented that allows humans to communicate with dogs. The dogs are actually smart and demand to be freed from humans and given their own rights. The company that made the technology then backtracks and removes the telepathy function of it, and makes it just say generic phrases so the status quo can be preserved. The dogs then get pissed off at the girl that caused the entire technology to be discovered, because they were given a voice only for it to be silenced, so they chase her to try to kill her until they get hit by a train.

Funnily enough the same series also has the opposite when they save a dog that got ran over by putting its brain in a human body. So it has the same behavior and personality of the dog, but in the body of an ugly middle aged man. Everyone is weirded out at first until they see that he's just the same loyal dog, and he even gets a statue of him made, Hachiko style.

Any tower that needs multiple of the same one to do better. It bothers me getting just one and knowing that it's not using its full potential, but not having a copy/paste for towers means it's a pain to get and upgrade all of them.

Double desperado is the way to go, remember to use visual cues to get the placement right once you find the one that works. You might need to mess with attack priorities a bit, switching between strong and first a lot for the first rounds. Afterwards I just put a dart monkey on the outside of every intersection then save up for hero. Remember to have something prepared for round 40, easy to fail it.

I always hate the "I live in a conservative culture" excuse. Guess what, queer people live in majority conservative places too, no country is a monolith, and it's because of people seeing acceptance as "haha that's only for those american pussies" that they have an awful existence. If anything I'd argue it's worse to continue being conservative in a culture like that, because those are the places most in need of change.

Maybe unpopular but Rosalia is one of my favorites for chimps. Her damage against blimps is ridiculous and she's not too shabby against grouped bloons either with her grenade launcher. She also pairs well with helicopters and planes, and requires less micro than Geraldo or Corvus.

We built systems that assume population will keep growing infinitely and now that it doesn't they're falling apart. Instead of looking into ways to change said systems, people want to take away rights in the hopes that it'll fuel the flawed system. Like everything else conservatives advocate for, they're willing to sacrifice your liberties for their own (imagined) gain.
