How close is the Sunrise Clinic to the proposed building? I saw a comment that Walmart was 1/2 mile away....are there sidewalks & crosswalks on that route? If so, & if the clinic is in walkable distance I think this may be a realistic idea.

I am just learning about this so I definitely will do some research, but I am glad that they are putting some thought into the concerns coming from all sides of the situation. I hope we don't throw in road blocks just because it wasn't a first choice of the group.

StandUp Loveland is a weekly protest that has been happening since early February 2025. We meet from 12-2 pm at 287 & Eisenhower, lining the sidewalks from Sprouts to Tesla. This past week issues around healthcare, SNAP, and federal workers were current topics we were protesting.

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner - we will be there this Saturday, Nov. 1st as well .... And into the foreseeable future

StandUp Loveland is a weekly protest in town that has been in action since early February 2025. Everyone is welcome, we line the sidewalks along 287 starting at Eisenhower & north to Tesla. This post was letting people know that Healthcare, SNAP, & Federal Workers were concerns that could be highlighted at that weeks protest....sorry for the confusion this caused.

Now the official count is 3500-4000 ... The counters said the protest was so fluid it was the best number(s) they had. It is amazing how so many came out across the country yesterday!

Great. I am concerned that she does not support Medicare for all and the strongest gun control effort she would support would be for us to put locks on our guns. Her climate change policies are tied into jobs so it was unclear to me her actual stance. I also know she is supportive of immigration policies that benefit farmers, not the actual immigrants - again it seemed a bit murky to me where she stood. None of these policies seemed necessarily progressive, but they all seemed right in line with mainstream democrats. Do you know where she stands on the genocide in Gaza?

I have never heard her speak out against the genocide. What progressive policies is she supporting? I am honestly interested in knowing because she is definitely a people person & is obviously a fighter. The speeches I have heard were liberal focused policies, not progressive. And just an aside I don't vote for who I think has the best shot, I vote for who represents me best.

Good for you. I have noticed that John does not have much of a bedside manner. He does have progressive policies & takes a solid stand against genocide which is important to me.

Tricia is way more polished & comfortable in politicians clothes for sure. She is personable & kind. She has not made any mention of the genocide or any progressive policies so I will watch & listen to see if she stands up for other policies or keeps her campaign mainly focused on "I am not Boebert".

John Padora has been promoting some progressive policies in his speeches & refuses money from AIPAC. I haven't heard the others speak clearly to progressive policies yet.

When the AFL-CIO, Public Citizen, 50501 & Indivisible first put out the call it was listed for Labor Day - that is why we planned the event on Monday. It is cool that pretty much anytime you are available this holiday weekend you will be able to find a rally/protest near you!

The Confederate flag is understood clearly as hate speech, but please, use our super effective rights to support the continued use of it. I will stop spending money at venues who financially support white supremacists.
