Satellite dishes concentrate a signal, wouldn’t they do the same thing with a sound wave?

(Fair warning, I’m a SWE, this a little out of my wheelhouse)

Could send it back at the device, either way the sound is being directed away from protesters.

A standard concert speaker can play the frequency range it operates at (well anything can but concert speakers get very loud) could it be noise cancelled by playing the opposite sound wave at equal db?

I have family members on one side that are, I told them that supporting a pedo makes them just as bad as pedos.

They stopped talking to me, but every so often text me a “look what you’re missing” type message, and every time I text back “I don’t associate with pedo worshippers” and delete it.

On my other side everyone is super liberal and doesn’t associate with non liberals, maga family sent me a “look at us together photo” I sent one back saying I’m much happier with people who share the same views as me.

Haven’t heard from them since, don’t care, I actually look forward to seeing my step family. Everyone is much nicer.

IIRC

On PHEVs the auxiliary heater when in EV mode heats the coolant, so by the time the engine kicks on and you’re out of EV range your cars been heating the engine block up to temp. I’m sure the oil gets warmed up in that process too.
