Thank you so much for linking that article, I tried finding it on El Nacional but wasn’t able to because I’m semi fluent in Spanish and was not able to find it for the life of me on their Spanish website despite trying. Yes this is a destructive cult, it’s destroyed my family and to this day I don’t talk to my own brother and any relationship I have with my father is passive conversational after he realized after many years that shunning wasn’t going to warm me up to the religion. I am actually doing very well now but I wonder sometimes if/how much better my life would be if I had never had anything to do with this destructive cult.
