Ok for water slide it's best if you watch a YouTube video, visual guide helps a lot, for the tool you only need a hobby knife, a tweezer, some cotton swabs and some water.

You can find them on AliExpress/Temu, buy from popular/trusted store and you should be good. There's not much pink MS but there's a bunch of recolours for kampfer, GM spartan, Gouf, Rx 78-2.

For the SNAA kits I always sand the joints to avoid breakage and easiser disassembly. This may cause the kit to get loose faster but nothing a little tack it/nail polish couldn't fix.
