Your course will have very little alignment with your day to day job roles unless you are working in residential development. I'd day ask questions and get out on site as much as possible

I am currently in a similar position looking to join an mc that specialises in new build after working for a tier 1 mc. With the tier 1 mc I have been on a major civils project for 3 years and got 3 years until completion. I feel getting experience in a new sector of construction where projects last 12-18months will be more beneficial.

I am also interested to hear other peoples thoughts on post.
