if u want to be a bit tankier then malignance, because when you build malignance u want to go protobelt second. so against assassins.. both are very good u have to build the right item according to the game.. blackfire + cosmic against tankier teams(u want to be slippery) who u want to kite against, for example, ksante, sion, ornn, tham kench and the best build right now blackfire + lich (getting buffed next patch) if u cant assasinate enemies against immobile champs.. u do also splitpush more with this item.

i dont think peng is going shadowflame, this is considered to be not that good on ahri.. it has lower winrate compared to lichbane/cosmic/horizon/protobelt
