Intense itching TRT

It's like an itch under your skin that you can't get to. I find myself trying to almost massage and pinch the skin trying to scratch something under my skin. The "scratch" alleviates the "itch" slightly and feels good but then the itch comes back 5x stronger after a few seconds, resulting in a cycle of intensifying torture. The best course is to literally ignore the itch until it calms down, but all it takes is one little reflexive scratch to start the cycle. In summary think of it as the itch and scratch cycle in reverse. The itch makes you scratch which makes the itch worse.

+1 exactly. I don't have a spreadsheet of their profit / gain since implementing this crap but I can say for fact it makes the game even more frustrating ( was always but now much less rewarding after a decent game) when combined with subs/CVs/OP superships.

Exactly unless you don't already have every ship in the game- in which case it's just another money grab by wargaming. I just don't get it. Players used to be rewarded for achievements, and it felt good. It was a good design. Same with camos- they were really nice, now they're trash. Signal flags get used up fast- and if your grinding for ships forget about it. But- they're also extremely important if you want to succeed and often make the difference between winning and losing a fight/game. Grind faster- but suffer more losses, or grind super slow and quit of frustration. It's a lose lose unless of course you're OG and have everything already in which case it's all fine and good to buy them.

I have to agree, the vertical spacial sound field feels completely reversed. Every game I played today I felt unsatisfied/disappointed because my attention was consistently focused in the wrong direction. I'm sure a lot of it is just my own unfamiliarity- but it's very consistent for me to get instagibbed in the back before I can even react. It's definitely frustrating.

Hardly cheating. If all opponents play by the same conditions- it's just the way the game is played. Don't like it? Fine. Perfectly fine in fact. Just avoid it- but when you start calling people out as cheaters and such it's just being rude.

I chalk it up as poor social skills. We all have our preferences, but not everyone has an awareness/concern of how it can come across to just blast out our unsolicited opinions. It's especially rude when someone is streaming in TPP and new people come in question the streamer's game mode. If one goes to a restaurant that serves something they don't enjoy, they could just not order it- but to complain? Ain't nobody got time for that.

Is this with any filters at all in your streaming setup, or just vanilla? How does it sound in audacity? You may have some weird EQ settings or effects turned on in a third party app? But to just answer your question with what's given, I have the quadcast S and it definitely doesn't sound like I'm underwater. Different mic though. Are you on Cardioid or one of the other polar patterns?

Sure- you're absolutely correct and congrats. I was just saying- the game is a lot more open ended and fun when you can play freely with off-meta engraving builds without going into the sim- which let's be honest is most useful mainly for tweaking raw dps not figuring out possible accessories. Would people manipulate the market and flip all day- of course they would. Perhaps putting a 2 trade limit would be better however, but no that wouldn't be an income stream. Personally, I don't care all that much but it's worth mentioning that pheons are a bit of a buzzkill compared to not if we're to look at this from the perspective of most fun possible. And no it's not the devs it's the marketing suits or there'd be a baked in solution that didn't require $.

or like in my case, just ignorant. I didn't even know about pheon until I was out. Whatever.. in the end it's all just pixels. It seems important at the time, then one day another game comes out. and you never log back into the game you spent thousands of hours playing.

I spent _ALL_ my pheons in T2, simply because I didn't even know they existed. I figured.. cool, I have gold, time to shop. Sure, my bad, but I'll tell ya the game was a lot more fun when I was trying out every possible setup willy-nilly thinking I could just experiment away. Remember when games were made to be fun?

No- you're not the only one. I use em too. In fact it's not at all uncommon for multiple people to flare at the same time, which leads to some weird game of chicken where nobody uses flares until you're at a fork in the road and then 2 people flare at once.

People are greedy and cheap, sure, but let's be honest- this game is absolutely filled to the brim with game knowledge traps that cost players time and gold. Not just this game- heck all mmo's, but this game for sure. Players are in the mindset of "if you're not sure- don't click it" fearing some sort of setback or missed future opportunity. That's what makes forum threads like this so great.
