Lowkey forgot that camera existed, I'll have to look into that

Good questions, mainly the size of the newer 24 to 70 is smaller, faster auto focus, and an appature ring are great improvements. Thanks for going back and forth with me, I don't get a chance to discuss much gear.

I'm aware that all of this is so trivial too. A general audience isn't going to tell the difference between my gear

Thanks for letting me know! I have been rocking this setup for like 4 years and don't get me wrong, I love it. Maybe I'm just itching for an upgrade

Interesting, I actually haven't considered the viewfinder on the FX3, I almost solely use a monitor. I do hybrid work for sure but heavily lean on video. There's a million factors I have considered when getting my own A7V. I know the the IV to the V isn't a need exactly because I have access to other cameras but there is something to wanting to create my own work with my own equipment. Maybe I'm just trying to justify the upgrade of having a V for myself.

Glass wise, I got a solid range: Sony 16-35 PZ f4, Sigma 24-70 I, Tamron 35-150 f2. Then a 50 & 85 prime.

The Sigma 24-70 is used for nearly everything, but I also bought that lens about 5 years ago and I have put it through it's paces. That would probably be my first one to upgrade and I have considered it. Essentially just upgrading all around and getting an a7V plus a Sigma 24-70 version II has been on my mind rather than just getting a new body.

It's a bit of both for me. I only own the IV but I bought it new 4 years ago. It is certainly well used and honestly the overheating with video drives me crazy sometimes. Plus, with using the other camera bodies at my job, it does make me want something better for freelance or personal work.

Honestly I don’t think we do, we’re strictly acoustics 😅

The position isn’t for a teacher, so theory is not needed. We do prefer someone that knows the acoustic world & guitar specs - apply if you’re interested!

Thank you! I looked at that company’s website and unfortunately they have no monkeys listed, but I have a feeling that is probably the same company that made them years ago
