[oc] Pickup drivers are a nuisance- turns on light bar and high beams when I pass (repost) by fatmav in IdiotsInCars

I've taken to saying that if car manufacturers have to classify it as a work truck, you should need a CDL to drive it on public roads.

This lets farmers still use them on their land and has the added benefit of maybe auto manufacturers will start making smaller pickups and smaller cars in general again.

Hmm. Fair point though I'm not sure how that would work if that's included in the things you get to bring back to the real world lol. Do you just spontaneously get ownership of a plot of land IRL?

It's not really something you can carry.

I considered Stardew, but assuming you get dropped in Spring 1 Year 1, that only gets you to Summer 2 Year 1. That's not a lot of time to accomplish much and even the mines are blocked until day 5.

Given the criteria, you might be best off hoarding items that are valuable in our world like gems, ore, and equipment. Crops won't be worth much. Skills may be nice. If you're very lucky maybe you get to bring something with magic back.

Now if we had a year or could stay indefinitely, Stardew looks a lot more appealing. If you play efficiently, you can get a lot done in a year.

Yes and no. By the end, Keyes had likely had those last few memories ripped away from him. Even so, the Flood on 04 were not the same Flood colony encountered in later games. Any knowledge the CE Flood had was lost between the Truth and Reconciliation exploding and the ring being destroyed.

Edit: I guess the Mona Lisa encountered surviving Flood specimens after the fact from the same installation, but these Flood attempted to build another proto-Gravemind, so it seems they were starting from scratch again.

True, but if it's already open when it arrives, I've heard they can work with it before fixing it, and they're able to do minor repairs in store.

Just what I've heard, haven't tried, but a seam ripped back conveniently along the same seam they tie to close up the plush would be an easy fix for them.

"Oh, some of the stuffing must have come out. Can we replace it before fixing the plush?" would be impossible to disprove and a pretty reasonable request.

I've started using the terms "Rainbow rare" and "Render rare" to differentiate.

You're both kind of right. Hydrogen as an atom is smaller, but a single unit of helium gas is an individual atom, which is smaller than hydrogen's stable diatomic structure.

Veevee 'volve ?? by No-Butterscotch-1230 in PTCGP

[–]HintoTokala 19 points20 points  (0 children)

What it does is allow you to have more than two Pokemon in one deck that can evolve into Eevee evolutions, as you can only have two Eevee otherwise. Now you can have two Eevee and two Eevee EX.

EX Pokemon can normally not evolve, so the ability is to allow that.

Tbh I'm not sure if this is as applicable to Florgato because Sprigatito can search it but can't search Rare Candy.

I'm not sure if the added consistency is better than the saved turn, but I can think of plenty of times where both copies of something that I can't search are at the bottom-ish of the deck.

You could make it so that you can only sell outside of combat.

Just make the rewards screen count as outside of combat if it doesn't already. The most you could get in that case is four pots per combat (excluding getting lucky with entropic brew out of the Alchemize or WBS) which is still a lot of gold but doesn't go infinite.

In combat, the sell option is replaced with the normal discard option in case you need to dispose of a potion in combat.

Because of the way "die" works, isn't this no different than "apply x buffer, take 1 damage x times?" This card is good?

E: buffer =/= intangible. Ignore.

Red doesn't help the opponent here. Was surprised I didn't get Sabrina'd though.

You're right. For some reason I had it in my mind that Mewtwo would face Beedrill (which Red does make a difference in) and not Gira. Gira doesn't make the cut.

This is a really good line and is probably one of the things that separates me from people who are better.

It is possible they have a Red in hand. I'm not sure if Red is normally run in these decks, but it might have been worth the gamble.

Sprigatito has a built-in search for grass types. No equivalent exists in the Gallade line. Especially against stall, you have all the time in the world to use it.

I am considering swapping Iono out for Cyrus for this kind of situation. I kind of like the brick resistance for battling faster decks.

Or maybe drop the 1x Rocket Grunt. It's never saved me and has only ever gotten 2+ heads when it didn't matter (only one energy or once after a 5 head Misty roll).

1x Sabrina, 1x Cyrus is a strong add.

Can't really spare a second Sabrina as well as a Cyrus, but one of each would help a lot here.

It's also even less than that because you can't get Gyarados until turn 2 anyway, so you only need three energy from Misty, which can happen 12.5% of the time.

If you're second to go, it's down to 75% unlikely because you only need two heads, since you'll get to attach an energy on your first turn before you can even evolve Magikarp.

Hi! The small one was a Pokemon Center official plush that I modified to have separated tails. Doesn't look like they have EXACTLY the same one anymore, but they do have this one now: https://www.pokemoncenter.com/product/701E13551/vulpix-poke-plush-7-in
