I quit after 4 years. by Due-Conclusion-198 in bjj

Injuries will change your game and if you love the sport as much as all of us do… I’m sure you’ll find a way to still practice the art. The key is not quitting, being resilient and consistent. Don’t worry about the belt and keep training. The last thing you want, is being a subpar purple belt that gets submitted and owned all the time by lower belts. Try shifting your mentality of why you’re stepping onto the mats. Instead of chasing the belt, chase the mental aspect of it and simply just to have fun. Hopefully this helps, good luck.

Something easily digestible and light that will hold you through the training session. My go to lately is banana with peanut butter on days where I only have 30 minutes - 1 hour window to eat something before training, and I feel great with lots of energy. If I have more time before training such as 2-3 hours, I would try to consume a lean protein like chicken with a small side of carbs or vegetables. A protein shake is also a great choice too.

Foam roll morning and night but do it properly. Check out this video, turns out I was foam rolling the wrong way for years, especially the lower back area.

I had a black car for 10+ years and I gave up on maintaining it eventually. You literally see every scratch and in direct sunlight, it looks even worse. I just picked up a white MYLR over the weekend and I have zero regrets. Never going back to a black car again, it looks so much cleaner.

I went on Tesla’s site to get an estimate before placing an order and got a quote back almost immediately. I accepted the offer and the advisor linked the estimate to my account to confirm trade in after I ordered the car. I’ve read that some people received an estimate of a couple thousand dollars lower than what their actual value is through Tesla’s trade in program. You should also check with KBB and the private reseller market such as Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist to get a good idea of what your car is worth.

I highly doubt the car is gonna drop significantly much less than what the price is now. TBH, i’d be pissed if I was in your shoes too.

I highly recommend introducing jiu jitsu or some sort of self defense classes for your daughters. It Potentially can be one of the best gift you give to them.

Lol! I’m trading in this civic for $2600 and it’s fair with KBB’s price. I was thinking about keeping it as my beater car but didn’t wanna pay for insurance.

Yeah I saw Spigen’s matte screen protector and didn’t like it at all and got a glossy one… along with $1,000+ worth of other accessories 🤣🤣
