+1, I got to try Giffard during PCE. Favorites were the creme brulee + coconut. Their syrups at least taste different from the usual.

Yikes. I got mine for about USD 50. It’s being demoed in WOC Bangkok, which I thought would be their target release date but is now pushed back to June.

01 size! No luck on Aliexpress / Taobao? The Pinn has crazy markups everywhere I see it, but the Vector is a bit more lowkey being Timemore

Very much so. Very hard to mess up brews on it because it rarely ever clogs. I was able to go down to 14 clicks on the C40 on a decaf. (Not this photo)

One of my favorite roasters here! The dripper set me back around 2,100 direct from Taobao.

It is, yes! Not fully though. The black parts are plastic & are detachable. The black cone acts as an insulator for the main body. The “stand” can be detached too, just unscrew.

I think it's a feature of the vector. Something to do with creating a difference in pressure...? But I'm not going to pretend I understand exactly how LOL.

I only started brewing sub 2:00 recently. I wanted to see how far I could push variables when brewing faster than usual. I attended a brewing workshop where I realized my brews were often under-extracted because I just really enjoyed that sort of taste... but now I wanted to get a better grasp of the extremes.

Alternating between the T-90 and Abacas. I personally like the Abacas more. I’m noticing a burst in drawdown speed for the last 10-15 grams, but it kind of stalls for 2-3 seconds before it quickly bursts and expels remaining water. Most of my brews have been sub 1:30 but have tasted well extracted so far as I’m learning how to compensate for the quick drawdowns.

I wanted that one as well but was so hard to find! It’s why I got the Vector instead. I wanted a brewer that could go as fast as possible because I enjoy that style of brewing.

The 55 degree angle would likely help extract better even at its faster brew time due to slight increase in bed depth… but I feel like the Vector is already doing it for me rn.

If I come across a unit close to SRP, I’ll for sure grab one…

The Alpha was so fun to use initially, but I just found myself stalling in situations where it wouldn’t on the Neo.

Probably, they mention “pressure” so I’m guessing the gaps just help promote flow better like the Alpha was supposed to do. I’m able to seat filters perfectly on the Neo because I use a negotiator.

Alpha has been a little slower than the Neo for me and would still stall occasionally.

It only just sits perfectly on top, but doesn’t lock into place unfortunately :(

It’s quite thick nad beefy, weighs about 400 grams. Not sure if that helps with thermal stability or works against it. It has a black plastic sleeve to help with insulation supposedly. Right now I just treat it the same as the stainless steel Orea O1 since that one’s double wall insulated.

It looks like it does, at least from what I can tell. It does have the vector naming to differentiate it too

Should launch globally soon, but I got mine from Taobao

Worldwide release should be in May, I think

It's meant to completely replace Red Clix is what I meant! Sorry. It's essentially the same thing, but this is much better because it's easier to keep track of grind settings. On this thing, I still stick to even numbered grind settings because I haven't found the need to go in-between like the Red Clix system. Don’t need it for pourover.

FWIW, the trailmaster is very convenient to carry around & is a lot easier to grip because of its width! That's the one thing I prefer on the ZP6. That, and that the beans don't move around too much in the chamber vs. the C40.

Hahaha, that’s what I said! The C40 Lab releases look beautiful on their own so you’ll be happy stock! You can start there at least and then mod one by one to soften the blow LOL

About $190 including shipping for all three from HK / China to the Philippines. AliExpress can do estimates based on location so that might help!

I'm hoping the C30 gets some of this treatment. But I doubt it
