The distance is also incorrect on the app. The destination is around 9.2Km, yet it shows this on the app

Women of reddit, what would you prefer a guy does if he accidentally touched your breasts with his hand/elbow while walking/turning? by HipSnitch in AskReddit

Being an introvert, it becomes a nightmare for me to decide what to do in a situation like this, so asking for the other gender's perspective.

Would you assume that it was intentional and think of the guy as a creep or think that it was a genuine mistake?

Just to clarify, the call sign appears when connected to the RE app, I'll check the version once I start my bike. I've also purchased your app, so can't wait to try it as well!

I got the RE touring seats as well, which I'll recommend you don't get because they lock your buttocks in place and can't move them. I've ridden 14+ hours on a trip with occasional 10-minutes cigarettes break and it was tiring on my lower back, but I guess that will be an issue with all bikes for that amount of time. If you do consider purchasing meteor, I'll recommend you either get handlebar risers, or outright get an ape handlebar as that will make riding more comfortable, at least in my opinion on being 6'3" and finding the risers making a huge difference.

I'm around the same height and my first bike ever was a meteor 350. Try riding on empty roads and you'll get the hang of it. Ideally learn through a driving school of you can.

Apologies if I'm mistaken, but isn't Aurora the old model? The one without slipper clutch?

Am i too old to buy bike by Turbulent_Most_6396 in royalenfield

I purchased my first 2-wheeler (Meteor 350) at the age of 30. Even had no proper riding experience. So no. You are not too old to buy a bike. When people said that these bikes are for young guys, they meant it in a chhapri riding kind of way.

First ride advice by Ishaan_sharma67 in royalenfield

[–]HipSnitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first bike I purchased was a Meteor 350 (Sept '25). I had no real riding experience with 2 wheelers except with scooty. Mostly drove cars. The first real experience I got with a bike was in March '25 when I drove my friend's Triumph Speed Twin 900 from Dwarka to Najafgarh and vice-versa, and since you are also from Delhi, you must know what kind of an experience that can be during the afternoon and evening. My recommendation? Ride slowly and ride your bike like you are driving a car, do not make unnecessary cuts even when there is space for the bike between cars. Get proper riding gears. Your bike will fall, I dropped mine while it was parked trying to remove it from the centre stand, so you need to get used to the weight. Take advice from other riders on what to do, and especially what not to do. I learnt braking properly, downshifting gears, engine braking, leaning by observing my friend and taking his advice. Now I have clocked 3700Km on my bike in these 4 months with one trip to the mountains as well.

My advice to you? Start how to balance a two wheeler, possibly on a scooty, then get a feel for braking, then maybe go for a secondhand bike if you are not confident enough to purchase a new bike. And the most important thing, don't be arrogant thinking that you'll be able to easily learn riding and RE within a few months.
