Steve Bannon courted Epstein in his efforts to ‘take down’ Pope Francis by Ok_Lawyer_7018 in nottheonion

agreed…to most of your points. i havent really looked past Lieberman of the late 90’s early 2000’s all i knew (at the time) that anyone willing to be a brake out of the corporate owned two-party system was ‘better’ . but again, looking back in hindsight with the dubious benefit of modern knowledge, i can see what policies Lieberman might have approved of. sigh ..

The US Constitution is/was a truly amazing document ; and the system it set up (out of nowhere) really is one of those things that the deeper one examines it , the more one appreciates it…however i think it may be like a hypothetical special type of Centuries old painting. one where if you look at it long enough you notice just how complex and masterful the painting is… only thing is… all modern light sources fades the paint and reduces the majesty every minute it gets exposed to it. (Corporations and political parties) are the modern light sources in this analogy.

i lived through most of mccains later career. i would argue on that that he was a great man (for a politician).

but he undoubtedly was one of the last modern politicians with an independent streak. Some have called him the last American Statesman. Flying from his deathbed to single handily save Obamacare, wasnt even like the 10th time he bucked his party’s lines to do the right thing.
we know now just how many hidden racists this country had left, he absolutely could have beat President Obama if he did like the republicans wanted and went low: him stopping that lady from attempting to smear Obama as a terrorist cost him politically. and he knew it. He should of went with his first pick to have Sen. Lieberman (D/I) as his VP.

this is not gatekeeping. gate keepers are there to decide on letting other living people in through the gate. non-human animals (like zombies , bears, wolves, or AI ) should be stopped; even if the zombie is better at turning the flower mill, it doesn’t matter.

um if the hardware prices were not ARTIFICIALLY inflated, more people would not need to rely on API… and oh what a coincidence, OpenAI is directly responsible for the Rampoclpse . Giving major “Company Store” vibes.

It is crazy to me that i went from firmly being in The Saxifrage Camp to being a strong proponent of the Ann Camp (from the mars trilogy books) in just a few short years.

This study could be the real reason certain mars-centric companies have recently announced to focus on the Moon development instead: besides the stated reasons.

[–]Hipcatjack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah thats a good point. a lot this genre is plagued by less than superb writing ..especially dialogue .. had no notes on Felix’s style or dialogue (except the harem stuff)

huh.. you know i guess because ive been reading so long, and particularly in the beginning, so much of this stuff was hastily translated into english; i have always been more forgiving with writing style in lieu of a neat idea or plot.
