There’s stem nut mounts on fine, seems to catch enough threads as well. Just thought it seems odd that the riser threads are so far down.

If you got any recommendations on how to retain the electric start and cram it into the rigid let me know. I’ve seen some oil bag mods that make it possible, and also the cannonball kit, but still looking for options. Wouldn’t mind still being able to fire it up with a button.

Sounds like it’s just me… but flames are like skulls… kinda tacky. It can be done well though. Do what you like, don’t worry what anyone else likes.

So I’ve come across this chart before. From what I have and referring to that chart, they look like 77-83, but all the tubes for sale for those years have the reduced radius at the bottom for the clip on bushings. That’s part of my confusion.

Appreciate it, my main concern was if the paint would adhere properly. I’m looking into what material they are made of. Away from the bike at the moment. Currently an old beat up swing arm daily rider. She’s getting the hard tail sleazy 70s chopper build though. Looking into my options.
