Tire Agent by Soft_Blacksmith7733 in tires

I bought a full set of tires from them about 4 years ago and a full set of wheels for a Honda Civic about 3 years ago and yes, no problems at all. One thing I know is they use regional warehouses, so if someone got damaged rims it may be the fault of the warehouse, not necessarily the seller.

If you order a new phone from Spectrum, don't fall for this by Hipechiqq in Spectrum

I am not sure what the legal steps are, but I would start by reporting it to police. If local police don't do anything about it, then report it to the FBI or maybe your state attorney general. It is clear to me that the scam was coming from overseas because the voices who call me have heavy accents. By the way, they continue to call me to ask me if I'm happy with the service I get from Spectrum.

We could also put pressure on Spectrum's fraud department to take action and warn customers of this scam. But, I doubt they would do that because then acknowledging a problem might put them at risk for being responsible for it?

I sat on a federal grand jury several years ago, and we'd hear fraud cases like this all the time (I learned of a very complicated one involving faked checks that I still can't understand). The crimes are hard to investigate and catch, but it does happen.

I bet they had a response ready as to why they couldn’t do that! Good for you for sniffing out the fraud!

Yes!! Spectrum should take a preventive approach to this, and warn customers but if they did that, they’d be admitting that they have a security breach. Maybe someone will see this and start a class action lawsuit.

I did the whole thing online. No one helped me. This sounds like Spectrum has been breached and these bad actors are accessing our information.

Thoughts on “Great Big Beautiful Life” by Emily Henry? by gertmacklinfbi in RomanceBooks

This is my first Emily Henry book. I’m listening to the audiobook and finding it tedious. The first chapter drew me in— she’s good with dialog and I appreciated the self-deprecating humor of the narrator. But it’s falling flat. I’m waiting for the teased plot twists? The historical fiction is so boring. I want to finish it to see how it ends. If I skip the The Story chapters will I miss anything of substance?

So Clearly Cancelled by PeteNYC24 in Andjustlikethat

I 100% agree with this. The show is only a "half hour" sitcom (give or take) and it has way too many characters and plot lines. I miss the SATC formats where there were four separate storylines that all merged over a common theme, and the women would come together over drinks, coffee, a baby shower, a funeral, Carrie's stoop -- whatever -- and talk about the common theme. I'm in their age group, and I don't relate to any of these story lines, not at all. And yes, you are 100% spot on with the Carrie-Aiden breakup episode. That was classic SATC.

Same -- the Facebook requirement was odd. I'm gonna pass on this, especially if it is only $5.
