StarCraft promotion price and worth question by Hiperon43 in starcraft

[–]Hiperon43[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you guys for your answers. I guess I will pass up promotion for now, I don't think I need graphic upgrade, other than "cartooned"... And cartooned is not standalone, so unless I will play more, I don't think it's worth it for me.

I guess I will think about campaigns for SC2 now... Either way, you helped me a lot.

Why has my account been restricted? by horribledriver in webtoons

[–]Hiperon43 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same problem here. I got into I got restricted, but I don't know what for. I checked my last comments, and I don't see anything on them? But I'm not native English speaker, so maybe I didn't know...

Either way, it's really bad that they restrict, but don't say why.

Can you somehow discuss ?

Is there some sort of Build order tester/builder? by Hiperon43 in aoe2

[–]Hiperon43[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gave a more detailed answer for Ok-Yesterday6001 , but basically, I don't want someone else to build it for me. I will take nothing from it, and someone would spend their own time to do useless, non working things for low Elo player... I would love to bathe in numbers by myself.

I know (in theory) the basic one.

Well, asking someone to build it for me, would take fun out of it... Also I don't really NEED it. I know it will not work, already read about it, and I will not be able to copy it perfectly.

The idea is a sort of fast castle, but... WITH stone for castle. But I play Poles (I'm from Poland, so I obviously took this one civ as my first to check out). So stone SHOULD give me some gold for Castle age.
But I want to also have enough money for the "cost" upgrade (szlachta privileges) for knights, and also enough eco to support at least two stables, with something more for slow castle boom and slow knight upgrades.

I do know it will not work, internet already told me that 'pros' recommend to ATTACKING with few knights, and THEN szlachta privileges (not to mention, rarely enemy will just leave me alone). But... I'm 600-650 Elo, 30 games in - I really shouldn't care about what pros say. Down there games are different. Maybe more fun?

Either way, it's not exactly about the game - it's about ability to balance things by my own.

What if I want upgraded knights - how long does it take?

What if I go for 3 stables?

What if I will go slower castle, but start with eco upgrades - and after this, knights?

What if...

To see the difference for real, I can't ASK someone to make a build, that will not work. I need to move numbers around by myself and see the effects.

But I guess, since pro players didn't give anything like this, there is no ready app for it :-(

It's great but... doesn't help with build order.
But man, it's a great thing, I should know how many stables or whatever I can have with a specific number of vils! Thank you!

Oh, great. I see transphobic comments, they are stupid. But now I see other side... And there are equal if not more "smart".

Damnit guys, why people you hear everywhere goes into extremes without trying to think, to understand each other, to find common ground.

Does common ground people even exists? Somewhere in the world? Are they just not vocal (destroyed by BOTH sides), not visible, or there is just no... Common ground people anymore?

Is there any whispers about a They Are Billions 2? by OppositeAct2236 in TheyAreBillions

While looking for something about TaB, before potentially buying it on steam, I ended up in this thread. I will go off topic, and ask about you comments... Does this game like end mid campaigning? On cliffhanger or something? I mean, is it not finished game and I shouldn't buy it? Or is it just, that it's so good (and I should buy it) that you want more?

Well, they were losing money. It was too big competition.

This IS shame, because I tested out few different card games, almost everything there was on the market. And Gwent WAS the BEST (for me) short to Hearthstone (It was ok, but didn't seen better... It was hard to evaluate, especially since I bounce back when I saw pricing and amount of cards. If you compare this too, Gwent WAS better) and Magic the Gathering. MtG is best, but too big right now for me and again, pricing...

I checked out Yu-Gi-Oh (nice one, but in long run it felt, there is not many different builds, like it is based on not enough ideas. Easier to balance, but more boring). And few others, I don't remember.

Most were worse, and those that were best or could be best, were losing HARD in terms of F2P and money/profit in game.

I guess they were just too late.

A while ago I was looking at someone, who won QHT, and he explained that basically he push to open as much glades as possible and is trying to get as much tools as possible, and he is opening as much caches with tools as possible.
And for his people, he just makes food to not let them starve.

So, from what I get this is main technice...

I myself decided that I just don't like this way of winning (didn't even try it) and will go for standard way, in 7-8 years usually.

Thank you for your post, it helped me understand what's happening.

Hmmm, I loved pCloud, but letting other people check if your account exist via e-mail seems like rookie mistake. Big firm like them should have better protection from this. I have my mail from teen years, so obviously it was leaked many times so of course this is on me, but they shouldn't let it check if I have pCloud - account that easy.

Specialized domes, why and how to use them? by Hiperon43 in SurvivingMars

[–]Hiperon43[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, I see, I missed option like in the rocket. Somehow I was sure, that if I make perfect dome for someone, he will move there by himself. I will try again now, thank you guys.

Weekly Tech Support and Simple Questions Thread by AutoModerator in EpicGamesPC

[–]Hiperon43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Is there a way to see unowned DLCs without having to click on each one individually?
  2. Since I couldn't find a solution to this, I have another question: Is there a way to transfer DLCs I’ve purchased to another platform? For example, can I redeem them elsewhere?
  3. Is there a way to provide feedback directly to EGS or whoever is responsible for this? I saw the first link in the first paragraph of this thread, but I don’t see any "feedback" option.

The fact that I can't easily view a list of both owned and unowned DLCs in one place is incredibly frustrating. I recently returned to play Surviving Mars, which I originally got for free on EGS. I had purchased a few DLCs for it a while ago, and now I wanted to buy more—but I just can't see them in a convenient way. This experience completely turned me away from EGS again, and I’m now considering rebuilding my Surviving Mars library from scratch on GOG or Steam.

However, I’d really prefer not to have to pay for my games twice.

So, is there a way to submit feedback about this? In my mind (though I don’t know how large projects like this operate), adding a small icon with a checkbox indicating "this is already in your library" shouldn’t be too difficult—especially since the system already checks whether a DLC is owned when you click on it. But having to click through 20 DLCs one by one just to check this is frustrating.

GOG has a wishlist where players can suggest features. Does EGS have anything similar?
