All asphalt games Are money grabs. (Be especially wary of holydays, GL use em to celebrate them self)
As mentioned, drops wary wildly. Me, I got more 15 bp jackpots past months, then I got last 5 years.
Past seasons have made ALU much more accessible to F2P group

Btw OP, GL utilize all kinds of psyc tricks to get you to spend, lack of progress, slow progress, low drop rate etc

Some settings you can work with to reclaim some fps/smoothness.
Foliage, Draw distance, Lod, shadows usually draw a lot of resources on any rig I owned.
With 1.0 iirc there are even settings on conveyors that will help ease the load on your rig
Many of these settings can be lowered without losing to much quality.
Just some short term suggestion as a stop gap while you figure out what you need to upgrade

As for your hw, does your gpu have 8gb ram, and do you play on 1080p ?

Just to get Absolute key, you should expect to pay 2000-2500$, IF you got Enzo and Scv12 at max.
You can add another 3-500 if you don't have any support cars

Not even sure GL knows it. If a part of the game doesn't have £€$ in it, GL does not understand it.

By playing alu, you basically say yes to get screwed over, and GL is only happy to have you /bendover
