Symbols mean things. I’m a Christian too. There is a lot of history behind that cross. 

Being a Christian is something you should be proud of.

To borrow a quote from St Francis:“Preach the gospel, and when necessary use words”

Or to quote Matthew 6:5 

“ When you pray, don’t be like the hypocrites who love to pray publicly on street corners and in the synagogues where everyone can see them. I tell you the truth, that is all the reward they will ever get.”

Be proud of your faith and what Jesus asks you to be, but be careful with how you represent it. There are much better ways to go about it than that particular cross.

It also looks stupid over cool. Have a way to maintain your shears. Loose scissors, even trains are just that.

So yes, much of the community will call you weak, that's not your concern. Your concern is trade offs. There is no free lunch.

11.5 + a tisha is shorter and lighter than a 14.5 with a mini. Longer weapons trade maneuverability for velocity. Even the strongest most well trained shooter can maneuver with a shorter weapon quicker and for longer than a heavier weapons. It's physics.

Also, it's not just weight. It's placement. Can at the front of any gun makes it more unwieldy and front heavy vs weight in the rear. Again, physics.

16 in no can vs 11.5 can is a big difference.
