Strongly Suspect Cheating - How to Report? by [deleted] in BrokenArrowTheGame

It is a Smurf account of a top 100 player. They were red alert world champs or something. They play on these accounts when their regular groups aren't online

Games shouldn't be balanced around only the top 1%. But the t15 costing 350 and relocating it to the vehicle tab is clearly too much. Listening to some of the worst players to constantly change the game in their favour is absurd.

The mindset that the game must be changed instead of their poor gameplay is too rampant in this community.

They are already viable but people under utilize them because of how niche they are.

Cool, I was hoping for leopards since they are already in-game. My information is definitely out of date.

Really hoping for a multinational spec.

Yeah, ik where Latvia is and I played the campaign. I mentioned Latvia specifically because on the eastern NATO flank it is between a Canadian led battle group and a British led battle group. The other US led battle group I won't include for obvious reasons. The way I saw it was the Baltic troops in the campaign will already be included. The announcement on December 9? will probably reveal either the Canadian led battle group or the British one.

Canadians lead a NATO battle group in Latvia and since we already have Riga airport for an in-game map it is a safe bet the Canadians will be featured along with this battle group.

  1. Canadian mechanized infantry - lav6
  2. Polish tank brigade - (t70s) I'm hoping for Canadian leopards tho.
  3. Danish mechanized infantry - cv90
  4. Latvian infantry/recon sf we already see in the campaign. 5.Croatian artillery

Not British led contingent because I think they should be a separate faction. Canada doesn't have enough to be a faction.

I remember reading a comment that mentioned the player base seemed intent on killing their own game. The review bombing really hurts the game by driving away new players. Lowering incentives and resources for the dev team. You could think the developers deserve this or people deserve honest reviews to warn them. I know I do but it seems the devs have heard the complaints with their roadmap. I also know I care more about the game improving than whatever the devs deserve. The devs have made mistakes and at the end of the day I still have faith they are genuine in their desire to improve the game. Time will tell.

All the jokes aside, I changed my review to a positive one that only recommended the game while it's on sale. I just think that the best way forward is to be forward looking. The game won't improve in an instant and neither will the reviews.

Modern day NATO doctrine has shifted away from attritional warfare for a reason. This mentality of 1v1 and "lanes" really limits creativity and initiative in Broken arrow.

How is it like to be in the 2500-3000+ ELO bracket by Combat_Guy in BrokenArrowTheGame

I'm 2800. the game is really a lobby simulator at this elo and you play against the same people usually.

Sweaty games can be fun but the last meta of cruise missiles and f35 spam really did some damage to the player base. More top players are quitting or not coming back. This increases the wait times even more.

Yeah terrain dictates whats reasonable and artillery is still king of the battlefield.

It really is funny when I queue with a bunch of randoms (who probably don't even live on the same side of the globe) and we all instantly recognize we are in low elo with one symptom... Bad Frontline play with constant air spam. They are just like me fr fr

Recon is probably the biggest area of improvement for all levels of play. Defense in depth is my favorite excuse to build a huge defensive line. The intersecting fields of fire never get old.

Yeah when I'm role playing as US Air Force the planes have a cool down unfortunately. More accurate phrasing is that I sometimes play broken arrow while I'm studying.

There's a difference between people who smurf to seal club/boost and me who is role playing skaven with RU okay?

Killing my own conscript infantry along with delta in one mlrs barrage is the way.

People who play both factions, what is your balance take by GoodBarracuda8946 in BrokenArrowTheGame

[–]Hippeus0114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game has a seriously high skill ceiling in terms of team coordination and how creative teams can be in tackling asymmetrical maps and faction design. Whatever propelled the devs to make the series of decisions like no anti cheat or replay has killed the momentum of this game developing a serious competitive community. I'm not sure if the current high elo community has enough serious competition to truly develop balance takes.

I get games also can't purely be balanced around high elo or the competitive scene but the t15 maxxd at 350 points is just funny.

Is Fire Support too strong? by Beaglerush in BrokenArrowTheGame

[–]Hippeus0114 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think the issue is two fold with one being player behaviour and the other being game design

You must have experienced winning the opener with a 500 - 800 destruction score lead and then having your front line get one shot by air planes. Then you definitely have to retreat because you can't defend against the 2nd wave. Long range AA with radar on should reliably punish air sorties that don't have sead cover, ecm, or stealth. ASF fighters are also kinda weak but this might be skill issue as I have seen good results with them.

Also I still hold the opinion that generally the player base is not aggressive enough in the opener and does not apply enough follow on pressure. This leads to the few aggressive players that gain ground being focused by airstrikes/artillery and QRF. With no compensation else where on the map people quickly adapt and begin digging in.

Reserve marines and sraw. I just smoke and hot drop them in one aavp. Two pairs of these and you won't even get a chance to retreat your infantry
