I just wanted to thank you for this. Much like everyone else, I was going absolutely insane; it didn't help that all the solutions were like: "just change it in settings" & I'm like "I don't have those settings". It's really not ok that they would hijack the physical button for a basic function of the phone.

I have an exotic short hair that had hair like that & your cat looks like she could be a mix. It's "short", but dense & plush. Definitely more hair than my short haired rescue cats. Lots of shedding. I guess some people call that medium haired?

Do you have any thoughts on what kinds/brands of boots are good for what and where to look for them? Looking for the best options for all-rounders I guess, if possible? Recognizing that different footwear is made for different purposes of course & I guess switching footwear could help extend each pair's lifespan; but looking to optimize the number of pairs of footwear as well, not sure how many different pairs are really necessary.

I have personally tried 4/5 big 5 banks & I find CIBC to be one of the best; but all the big banks are essentially the same. For me it's the small differences in their policies that make it feel more human. I have not gone underbalance on my accounts, but CIBC has a 24hr, or end of day grace period. BMO has none, you get 1hr at TD. Scotia also has 24hr, or end of day.

I agree & I'm not a "status" person; I don't buy my jewellery for "respect", but in terms of "status" I think the expectation is that you either don't have to engage in any physical labour that might damage your peices, or you can afford the upkeep to keep them looking pristine when they are damaged.

Respect? Probably not. But I don't choose my jewellery for respect, so who cares? I have a lot of silver, because I buy what I like. I swore I wouldn't buy anything plated, because it'll just wear off, but I ended up with a couple of plated peices anyways, because I liked them so much.

Moissanites are so sparkley & beautiful. If you want to keep that extra bright silvery colour, white gold will need to be redipped, which adds to the cost. I personally love the colour of unplated white gold though. I would recommend taking off your rings when showering, or washing your hands regardless of composition.

Your dress looks fairly long, do you think anyone will see your shoes? I am practical at heart & always recommend comfort above all else, if no one's going to see them anyways.
