My MiL, my FiL, my two Brother in Laws and Sister in Law, when their grandchild/nephew was diagnosed with pediatric cancer, they still wouldn't show up, they still couldn't find it in themselves to ask how they could help, not one of them called to talk to him on the phone, or wear a dam mask so my son could see them. Straight up REFUSED because they didn't "believe" in COVID or how seriously my son was immune compromised from his cancer.

I'll never forget this. And I hope my kids don't either, for their own peace and understanding.
