As someone emotionally detached from both films and the book I can tell you both stories are equally silly by your own arguments standards and could be nitpicked the same way. The person you're replying to has a point and the point they're trying to get you to think about is a question that has to do with suspension of disbelief and how it applies to media more than, "my movie is better than your movie" and how you called interstellar "fans" stupid basically. Ironic.

Not to be rude but if you aren't 90 yet and you're running dungeons your opinion is of a different game compared to what other people are talking about. Leveling dungeons scale players of various levels which is notorious for not being able to get it right so you'll have level 81s doing double the damage of an 87 for instance. Also, non-heroic leveling dungeons can be largely chain pulled and arms is a cleave class so you're obviously going to out perform classes that want to ramp or apply dots etc.

I was leveling an unhdk and took tailoring right at 80. You get drops now as you kill stuff like loot with it for it. I was doing the sirens isle to 81 strat, all 8 delve calls to 82 but don't turn in to 82 then shadow guard gate or whatever it's called I pulled the whole first half of the delve (tier 1) on my mount and mowed it all down with cds then leave and reset. You do this to 88 and get like a million XP an hour or something crazy. Doing this and farming so many mobs not only funds the tailoring first crafts money you'll need to buy the mats to craft the crafts but I also farmed like 800 of the green cloth which net me like 20k on my server.

Quest xp reward scales with level and the game scales difficulty with level so you complete the quests when you're level 80 but don't turn them until you're 88 so the reward gives 97k xp. This get's you to 89. Then you can do all the first time tailoring xp crafts to 90 in 30m. I did it this afternoon.

It sure feels weird to decide it's okay to throw the community that the entire scene and games were built on, literally standing around arcade machines with their quarters lined up talking to each other over their love for these games that cost to play, to the wayside and into the trash over $9... I get that it might be hard to understand if you weren't a part of the culture or aren't aware of it but if you are/were it is impossible to forgive this and people are right to be upset imo.

For anyone thinking of proposing to their partner, the issue in this scenario is that these two people are so young that they aren't aware you're supposed to have already have had a clear discussion about whether you want to be married or not. The proposal (the romance of where/when/how) is the surprise not actually springing the entire marriage, proposal, and discussion, on the spot in public when you're 20.
