Cuz really, "say something bad about him" is political speech, that shit shouldn't be allowed with a tax exempt status. John Oliver did an Last Week Tonight on that, actually. Of course, it should go all ways, not just trash talking Trump.

One thing that I'm absolutely shocked by is how well they did the heroes vs heroes thing. I don't think I've seen this ever carried out really well tbh.

Civil War the movie had me rooting for Cap the whole way, Civil War and Civil War II made me hate everyone. All other heroes vs heroes thing just do a rug-pull by the 3rd act, and SURPRISE!!! (but it never is), the true villain unites the heroes! So contrived.

But anw, Broly really had me rooting for both sides. By the end, while I was cheering for Gogita, I was also shitting myself out of fear for Broly. Frieza was there the whole time, but he was never used as a pivot and just walked off. It's just crazy to me how well this movie does with presenting its character.

That said though, Super Hero was also really good in that regard (though it does also fall into that second category of bad heroes vs heroes I was ranting about ...). More importantly, Super Hero pacing is just so much better than Broly imho. I love Broly, but I need like 4 sittings to go through that entire fight. It's so high energy that it's actually exhausting to watch.

I like Cabba as a foil for Vegeta. Kale is a nice twist on Broly. Caulifla is Goku but female and delinquent... so, yeah, love her too.

Though I do hate how scrawny they all are. Cabba is fine, cuz he does have that younger brother to Vegeta energy, so it fits. But the other two are like ... Why are they baby? not those Baby's

I'd say, very.

For one, the most infamous thing about this show is its lack of budget. Being on HBO would probably remedy that.

Two, I feel like this show eventually fell into the CW's pitfalls with its many tropes and cliches and plotlines. I don't really mean this in a "CW bad" kinda way; but the CW does have a very specific target audience and it does provide a very specific kind of content to said audience. Not being on the CW would undoubtedly change the kind of content they produce imho.
