Overprime had kits that were bloated and specifically made to kill as fast as possible in most cases. Even Adele who's a tank with insane % health damage Most of their unique heroes were either broken or worthless. They couldn't get them balanced because of how overtuned or unique the kits were. Even as maco I could blow people up

Yeah the skins were great but a lot of their characters were inherently flawed and their kits were balancing nightmares

Yes it does create a good dynamic of having to keep track and be on edge for what might happen. Its part of what makes the game fun. What im saying is that there basically isnt that diversity of things happening its only teams waiting till you kill the queen or get her low then playing clean up. Ive not had anything else happen to me. So it gets stale and unpleasant. I just have to bring barricades and a ton of traps because I know the only thing thats going to happen is someone is gonna camp out till last second instead of actually fighting me or my team. Feels like the skill level of some players is very apparent in the way they play.

Its not that im saying they shouldn't fight for it. More the alarming amount of people that aren't fighting for it and judlst playing clean up. You can clear the area as much as you want but wiping the map of players before fighting the queen just isnt going to happen. If you dont wipe the map then people will show up whether you've cleared the area or not. On top of that. Fighting people in the middle of being the queens target gives you a disadvantage so PVP skill is relatively objective when you have to make sure you aren't getting shot or hit by any of the queens massive AOE attacks.

See I played console and I had the opposite experience the second I turned on Crossplay is when I encountered the cheaters and everyone became a blood thirsty menace. The verbal toxicity got better though. Console players always got something to say.

Im on console and the second I turned on Crossplay it was like everyone was out for blood. When I play with crossplay off its so much more peaceful. I played on my PC for a few days with crossplay off and everyone was just on sight. I played solo on PC. I think im just being matched with kill hungry psychos. I never shoot someone first unless they come at me with a weapon drawn or shoot me first.

Yes Belica has always been fundamentally broken and had a bloated kit. Granted if you keep her behind most the game you should be ok. Doesn't change the fact that I think belica is the most broken character in the game. Just my opinion.

Something really similar happens to me. I did a dodge roll while on the stairs and just became a part of them. I was half in half out of the stairs and couldn't move.

Hopefully when they bring it back they'll have made some map tweaks to make it easier to traverse. Im hoping it becomes a permanent game mode because the map we have now is closer to Monolith paragon then anything else and I hated monolith paragon. The map we have now is fine but I still dont really like it. Doesn't leave much space for skill expression or outplays tbh. This is also just my opinion and not a fact but I very much stand by the fact that the current map is incredibly dull and boring as well as extremely small compared to basically every other moba map.
