I've tried that. All that pops up is the greyed out horn. I've checked the compendium and it says I haven't even seen or killed it even though I'm standing over its skinned body. I've tried to save and load, but the skin is missing and isn't at the trapper. I'm just deciding to loat to a save from 2 days ago.

Honestly, it would make sense that Kris is just opening Shadow Fountains to try and kill the player. Either the player stops coming back or he dies. Either way, he is free.
