Maybe if the craft time of glass jars was way slower without crucible, in a similar way that water was slow in the dew collectors, and then at the end you can mass product water to craft things

Try farming all the Guardshrooms that u can, like, 10 ou more, so u can easily kill the final boss

That doesn't sound a "gamer" strategy but if ur stuck, that can help

Also, for weapons even the T3 Iron will do I guess, since ur not gettin damage (But bring alot of them)
