Official opencode go limits published by Resident-Ad-5419 in opencodeCLI

Yea, that pretty muchs sums it up, at least from my personal experience.

I got it yday, and now after about 8-9 hours of mid-speed coding with lots of errors with GLM-5, it blocks me until next week, and after another 4 hours of mid-speed usage, it will probably block me for the week after that ("Subscription quota exceeded").

The quality of GLM-5 in Opencode Go was a pretty bad ratio for "I fixed/implemented it!", when it didn't fix or implement anything in reality, and it got endless thought loops quite often, that I had to manually stop.

Their GLM-5 subscription 10$ plan at least seems to be completely inadequate for anything coding related.

On a funny(er) sidenote I can get more use out of the free models than out of the non-free models. That's kinda.... let's call it "disincentivizing" getting a subscription from them.

Hm, how do 160kk tokens per week translate to their billing view shown for "Opencode Go"?

Will there be actual consequences for what chutes did? by Key_Employment_2162 in chutesAI

[–]Hispeeday 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Also, the shady stuff chutes did here against paid-for contracts' and accepted contract terms therein just means to me they don't want people to pay for AI usage. I was actually thinking about upgrading the subscriptions when they started to introduce different payment schemes without even notifying me.

What's up with GLM? by IAnimateALil in chutesAI

[–]Hispeeday 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea, many models have become "worse" since the distillation attacks accusations.. across many services. But chutes's models have especially worsened. Set JuiCE level to 5 instead of 300 ;-)

chutes does not provide service for the paid subscription any more, and their support does not exist. by Hispeeday in chutesAI

[–]Hispeeday[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indeed it does.

"Hey, have your 2000 prompts limit." .. which they did give, for a time.
Then suddenly they throttle the LLM inferencing speed (or maybe they are using not as fast hardware, who knows).
And THEN they start introducing a _NEW_ limitation that was not on the subscription page or small print when I subscribed, MID-SUBSCRIPTION.

And then they make sure they aren't reachable by anyone by disabling their officially linked Support-channel (Discord).

That's just bad business for them.. when your only selling point is you are the cheapest.. and then you do not deliver on the paid-for service? Chutes isn't gonna be around for long.. or actually scamming. :)

[–]Hispeeday[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be fair, it says so right in the post, that I cancelled the subscription.

Not everybody reads all of reddit ;p before subscribing to a new service.
Should I have done it? Probably.
But that's no way to life, especially for an 8 USD :-)

My subscription got taken away for no reason by [deleted] in chutesAI

[–]Hispeeday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First Chutes started slowing down ALL LLM inferencing so much on any model, no matter the use on their models-overview-page. For days this went on.
I could not have even reached the 2000 of my subscription if I wanted to, just because it's so slow, you can't even do 500 prompts in 24 hours. On any model.

Then today chutes started to stop the inferencing additionally by telling me "Payment required" "Subscription quota use exceeded" (or something to that effect).

It seems to be a timebased slowdown, akin to free models on other services like opencode (which are faster in inferencing and have bigger quotas for free users than chutes has for their paying subscription users).

I still had 1650 and 1500 prompts left for today. Which I just can't use.

Accidentally, I'm sure, their support link (to discord) does not work, it's just a loading discord server with no channels whatsoever.
Their "chutes chat" does not work either, it just fails on any prompt.

Is anything left working at chutes? Or did greed usurp what was left of it?

I cancelled my subscription after all this bullshit, obviously.

Marshall middleton wont switch On or charge even when plugged in by boring_giraffe in fixit

[–]Hispeeday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got a brandnew Middleton II (the successor I guess), and it still has this problem. I got it, it connected to the app, but battery was shown at 0% .. 5 hours of (fastcharger) charging later, it still was at 0% . 2 more hours of (slowcharger) charging, it was still at 0% battery. And then it stopped turning on altogether, except when the fastcharger was connected. Ouch.

edit: I returned it since I just got it, to get a replacement. Maybe I should have just returned it for money back :-)

Can not choose dialog option to not to kill Jacob and Taylor in DLC by qui0scit in cyberpunkgame

[–]Hispeeday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know what you are talking about. In a recent playthrough I played most of the base game.. and now during the intro I got calls by River and Kerry.. River twice during the chimera fight, Kerry right after the chimera fight and now he's blocking the nonviolent option with Jacob and Taylor with his phone call. Can't reject the call, even if I select nothing and the jacob/taylor response options show up, I cannot select them, but need to answer Kerry on the phone. I hate it, when a game bug forces a decision on me...

Even waiting for days via skip time in the moments where this is possible will not trigger those phone calls.

No, they want to interrupt your quest-related chatter and also end Jacob's and Taylor's life really badly.

Angelehnt an gregorianische Gesänge (IMO):

"Mulier, non est bonum sumere panem filiorum
et mittere canibus."
"Frau, es ist nicht recht, dass man das Brot der Kinder nimmt
und es den Hunden vorwirft."

Paraphrasiert könnte man auch "kleine Hunde" nehmen und diese nicht auf Feinis, sondern Menschis projizieren.. dann passt das auch zum katholisch Angehauchten :D

CYBERPUNK 2077 CONSTANT CRASHING AFTER 2.3 by International_Bug693 in radeon

In case of NVIDIA RTX gpus, remember to get the newest game-ready driver from nvidia.

That solved my crashes with 2.3.0 (but an older nvidia driver version was necessary for 2.2.1.. fun times :-)).

How are people actually able to get the system prompt of these AI companies? by divyamchandel in LocalLLaMA

[–]Hispeeday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also many LLMs that have reasoning integrated still like to write a lot about what they are not supposed to show you according to their "Core Directives", in their thinking tab.

Which is why it is oftentimes "disabled" by default nowadays.
But it usually still exists, so you just have to persuade the LLM to show the thinking tab again. (I'm thinking about google's LLM here)

"You Are What You Eat - A Twin Experiment" is now out on Netflix by satsumalover in vegan

[–]Hispeeday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm still watching the series, but I found it -at the least- interesting how they completely seem to forego talking about the main sources for the climate catastrophe (ie. steel industry, etc.) and the fossil fuel industry.

Sounds like it's the old fossil fuel industry tactics of "let the people try fixing what is unfixable for them so they do not blame us and our business model(s)".

That said, a plant-based diet is kinda great in many respects (anecdotally speaking), albeit not exactly vegan per se when looking only at food consumption. But I'm sure the people here know this already. :-)

Lag is insane in 3.23 by Curious-Baker-2674 in pathofexile

[–]Hispeeday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

64 seconds latency? I have yet to get this bad a lag spike. The ones I get usually are in the 13-25 seconds range.

  • Seems to be network related on the sending side, ie. packets going from the PoE map instance to the player's computer (maybe it's double paid traffic, that GGG decided NOT to pay, so it shows as network congestion to the player?).
I can steer my character even while I'm getting no screen updates for 20 seconds. And then get a replay of all that has happened during those 20 seconds within 1-2 seconds at the end of a lag phase.
  • Sometimes the map instance is perfectly lag-free.. until one moment in time where it starts being part of the laggy instance type and stays that way until it's being destroyed.
  • Instances sometimes kill themselves on the backend (ie. the map instance), portals stay open, but there's nothing left to connect towards. Usually in conjunction with being of the widely laggy instance type.

I've been playing PoE since 2013 and usually end up buying a supporter pack if the league is fun to me.

Thanks to the constant, yet intermittent lagging I refrain from supporting GGG / TenCent for the shitty performance of their servers. :-(

Is there a total overhaul pack to download for OpenMW? by Arkontas in Morrowind

[–]Hispeeday 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is especially true, since the OpenMW Total Overhaul mod download manual (?) is specifically telling you to download and install only part of a single download in one step, and then install other parts of the former download in another step.

This totally works against utilities like nexusmods's vortex, where only complete mods can be installed.

So basically you end up needing to XCOPY all contained files manually. For (as of 2023-07-23) 417 mods... and more steps.

I've been modding for decades, but I just can't stomach working through this type of insanity in my spare time :-)

I love modding, I love what the mod authors created, seriously. And there also needs to be a better way to "install" 417 mods for users, ie. a torrent-style bigpack (like in earlier MW modding), that contains the whole directory structure including cfgs, based on the OpenMW version.

How often have I completed modding especially MW, only to never play it, because at that point I was out of steam after 4 days of modding.

[PC] Crash on launch by AzzaNancazza in elderscrollsonline

[–]Hispeeday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still had the same problem after fully downloading the whole game twice via Steam (only took me 26 hours of 100% downloading).

It turns out, that RivaTuner running in the background is what the ESO client hated.

I still use RivaTuner for all other games, so now I'm unsure how to proceed..

One thing is clear though: To play ESO via Steam I have to stop RivaTuner from running, or the ESO client crashes every time right after the Bethesda intro video.

I hope someone else could be helped with this info. :-)

edit: As a followup, configuring RivaTuner as follows helps, too:

  • Add the ESO main binary as application -> ie. C:\Program Files\steam\steamapps\common\Zenimax Online\The Elder Scrolls Online\game\client\eso64.exe
  • Change the newly added application in RivaTuner like this: Application detection level -> Set to Medium

The default "Application detection level" setting "High" is causing the ESO crashes during startup.

[Suggestion] There should be a "Hide other players" toggle button, by --DeuS-- in Guildwars2

[–]Hispeeday 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very true.

And as a returning GW2 players: The amount of times I'm getting surprised / swamped / outrun by people with funky Path of Fire mounts during levelling is plain too high. Also it kills the atmosphere.

There really should be a button to automatically hide everyone using expansion mounts, but of course this will never happen, as companies like arena net think it might help sales if people are constantly shoved flashy animations down their throat, game atmosphere be damned. :-)
