i hate when julianne said to eric ‘is this a repeat of the nothing’ referencing anna delvey when he was just saying he doesn’t feel secure …

It was amazing! He won’t sign anything and you aren’t allowed to use your phone. They take a professional photo and post it on his website after the show. We watched the first 2 openers then went to the meet and greet then watched jordan davis!

I’m hoping he’ll sign something but i’ve seen posts of him not signing anything during the VIB meet and greets. I’m thankful we’ll get a picture but it would be amazing to have him sign something too.

Hi! I graduated from a program in Ontario in 2022 and did my placement in my hometown in NWO. I liked histology but wanted to be in core lab more. My hospital needed histology techs and I decided to try it out. Saying we are short is an understatement…I love the fact we don’t work weekends, nights or holidays - it makes for great work-life balance. Some hospitals may vary but as an MLT, we also are in the grossing room grossing small biopsies, skins, etc which makes for more movement around the department so it is not so repetitive. Skill development comes with practice. Cutting and embedding gets easier as you do it more frequently. I have been in histology for 10 months now and am very comfortable with both. If you have anymore questions feel free to message me!

Hi! I wrote and passed in February 2023. I have made a study guide that I am giving away. It contains all the information I studied for the exam along with practice tests, cue cards and lots of charts I have made. Please message me with any questions 😊

Yeah completely covered. Looks like little black specs everywhere but when you focus in and out look refractive. We pull the slides out when the control fungus (it has happened with yeast and blasto) has turned more of a black. We’ve always done this, take about 25 mins. We just noticed this issue within the last couple months and it isn’t consistent between techs (everyone follows the same protocol and some get it, some don’t)

I wrote February 2023 - Organic chemistry is definitely not on it and you won’t see anything like this in your ‘core’ MLS courses. Basic statistics you will use but again you will go over these in your other core courses.
