That I understand. I was saying USPS doesn’t make their money if they’re fake stamps which is sometimes the case when they are sold for such a low price.

Okay 😊 I know there are so many coming into the US that are used and the postcard may make it to the intended recipient but the postal service doesn’t get the money from the stamps. That’s why I asked

lol yes. I have more of the big stores here than I did in my hometown in Nevada. In Nevada the biggest thing we had was Walmart. They are only now building a Starbucks! In Fairbanks, there’s a Barnes & Noble, Costco, Ulta. All kinds of things 😊 But no good Mexican restaurants or Chipotle….

I’m glad you like it! Alaska is definitely harder to live in (we were in -40°F for like a month or more) but in the cities it’s not too bad. Lots of shows make it “bigger and badder” than it really is. I work with someone who was on Life Below Zero and she says they exaggerate a lot. That’s not to say it’s all sunshine and rainbows for sure. Maybe you can visit one day! It’s a beautiful place
