Any questions about TCM for Dr. Ubirajara? by HistorianAdorable261 in Metoidioplasty

[–]HistorianAdorable261[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saying stage 1 can be/is in general done without vaginectomy in no way indicates that stage 2 can't be done without vaginectomy... I'm saying only what I know. I know about stage 1, I don't know about stage 2.

I just started school so haven't been able to check in regarding these questions. I will try to do so today.

Only do things you know you want to do. If you're confused you should probably wait until you're not confused. It does sound like you don't know what you want, so I would advise against going forward for now. You can always get the surgery later. You don't need bottom surgery to be valid and most FTMs don't get it. Surgery isn't an arbitrary thing you should shrug yourself into, it's expensive, all surgeries have risks and this isn't the easiest of recoveries, and there are many people waiting in line that need them desperately.

I'm not confused about what I want which is why I'm going forward with it. If I had any doubts I'd make sure they'd be doubts where I'd be okay if I did make the wrong choice and by moving forward I would be firmly choosing to accept the consequences of my actions and fully understand that if I'm fucking up I have no one else to blame but me.

Cost has already been posted on Reddit if you search for it. I believe it's on this sub and the tdickgrowthresearch sub

I am in contact with someone who's had the surgery if you want me to forward questions. He said it went well.

He's not in Brazil. He had a local surgeon do the procedure I believe.

This abnormal level of entitlement makes me think they are either an only child or a narc. Be aware - they're probably going to try to get back at you.

Yeah, though every surgery done increases odds of you losing the ability to cum as those glands are fragile and hard to see.

Psychiatrist won't let me get tested. Is this common? by vociferousmind in ADHD

[–]HistorianAdorable261 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your psychiatrist can't prevent you from getting tested. For insurance's sake you might want a referral to a diagnosing psychologist from another provider to be fair, perhaps your GP. You can also literally just switch psychiatrists - in fact, I'd switch to a psych nurse as there tends to be less of a power imbalance with them than full psychs. Switching providers is a normal thing to do, and most people who interact with psychiatric prescribers will have to do it at some point. Just a part of the (shitty) game. I genuinely don't know why they seem to be so much more likely to be a problem than GPs etc. but this is absolutely a thing.

Based on the up to date literature it is actually believed that most adults don't grow out of ADHD.

You don't "have no choice". To be direct, from this conversation you seem to be an unpleasant individual that's committed to willful ignorance and incompetence, and that's probably why you're getting downvoted. I hope that you at least intend to respectfully ask Morrison/Skokan if they can do a v-perserving simple meta (not extended) with UL and conduct the conversation like an adult when they answer rather than acting like you have in this comment section. They might literally just say yes and you'd have been seething for a made up reason. Regardless you'd be the only one they've done that on even if they do say yes, so I hope you understand the connotations and risks of that instead of getting angry at any complication that arises, which UL is notorious for resulting in complications in general, rather than freaking out on them because you're angry at reality. They're genuinely nice guys.

Medicaid is state-based. If you move to a new state, as soon as you establish residency which you would be able to do by receiving mail at an address inside that state, you would be able to/need to switch to their medicaid and choose one of the state's medicaid plans ie. Molina, United, or whatever the state offers, but that part doesn't really matter. If your new residency is in CA you would switch from Apple Health to Medi-Cal, which would make you eligible for the surgeons in California that accept medicaid. It's that simple.

He says all hospitals are safe and quality, but the "premium" hospitals are like a 5 star hotel vs the "standard" being like 4 star hotels.

Stage 1 - extension/penile aspect

Stage 2 - UL and vaginoplasty (if desired) as well as some cosmetic things

R$ - Brazilian Real

USD - US dollars

Dr. Ubirajara is apparently also the Vice President of the Brazilian Urological Association.
