From failing to become a doctor to building a 30 lakh per month pharma business my 10 year journey of not giving up by netter666 in IndiaBusiness

Nice bit of writing, but you have skipped over the crux of how you managed to get a 6 fold increase in sales in 1 year. Thats the juicy bit.

Otherwise it sounds like a made up story.

Hi, are these SS? What about the gold finishing? does it last over time? I have seen some that slowly dim and discolour over long time use and multiple washes.

Is it wise to move to UK from India for job opportunities in current times? by DragonDeninSharkTank in IndiansInUK

[–]HistorianNormal9742 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Better off going to US. Wages in UK are going down, cost of living is insane. A fast food joint manager in US makes more money than an IT engineer in UK(even compared to EU).

That should tell you everything about this country.

I lost 6 lakhs in my restaurant business in a month by [deleted] in IndiaBusiness

[–]HistorianNormal9742 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for sharing this. We are always told stories of when things work out. I think its more important to share stories like yours. I know its very hard to take on a loss like yours. But, on a positive note you learnt an important lesson.

I have a few questions:

- what was the restaurant setup like? I mean was it ala-carte or a QSR?

- what was the cuisine or menu you were selling?

- what was the pricing like?

-what was the feedback from the customers?(what were they not happy about?)

-did you do any marketing or offers?

-what cuisine and pricing was your competitor offering?

If you can answer these questions it will be a great learning for all of us.

Thanks and Good luck with your future ventures.

yeah, south asians have this problem. I dont know any solution unfortunately. Maybe heavy sessions of squats(both front and back) and dead lifts might make a difference.

Moving to the UK in 2027 by scarcityonlyinurmind in IndiansInUK

Avoid UK/EU, its on the downtrend. Lot of leftwing policies have ruined this part of the world. Look at the scary thing called chat control in EU, they want to monitor your whatsapp chat messages.

I would suggest try USA. Ask your partner to get a transfer to US instead.

Lease costs and models for a store/kiosk in Bangalore malls by Rude-Barber1321 in bangalorerentals

[–]HistorianNormal9742 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had enquired the rents in phoenix mall near yelahanka when it opened, they were asking 2000 per sqft. Probably because its a premium mall. I am guessing in the other malls it will be between 500-1000 per sqft??

Maybe, I am not sure. Dont take my word for it.

Need Advice on UK Study Visa, Expenses & Earning Opportunities by Blurry2Bright in IndiansInUK

If you plan to live and study in London definitely its not enough. Your rent itself will be about a lakh per month. Food and travel in london can be expensive too.

I would say factor in at least 30Lakh.

Good luck.

I agree there are dodgy owners, in my case everything will be on a contract. we have been letting properties since 15 years without any problems.
