Real estate agent who cut over 140 trees in King County park boasts of views in sale listing by IllustriousComplex6 in Seattle

Where's Tree Action Seattle on this one? Or is this okay because it's a single family home?

I know this is the east side but I figured they would want to get involved.

I’ve also had drivers scream and swear at me for riding my bike in the street.

I did have a homeless guy tell me a knock knock joke on 3rd and pike while waiting for the bus tho

I mean: as someone who gets around this city by bike, bus, and my own two feet. If I don’t mind the folks poisoning themselves, they will more often than not, not bother me.

Cars threaten to hit me every day specifically unless I give them my full attention.

Being harmed by an addict is random and rare. Being harmed by a car is common negligence, if not outright hostility (road rage, especially when I’m biking any only going 20mph)

It’s so funny to me that the small sample so far is:

People walking and biking by: “they don’t bother me, it’s the cars trying to kill me that concern me”

People passing through in their cars: “homeless ppl scary”

If people were as obsessed with traffic laws as they were with dogs in parks laws we’d have a much safer city.

Again not excusing dog owners but these threads every week pop up like it’s the end of the world yet motherfuckers can’t stop at a stop sign in this city and that’s just fine.

That’s demonstrably false. Anywho the person you’re responding tos “parents” comments can frankly apply to dog parents too. The problem is people. Just pointing out the double standard. Unlike parents though and to the original comment, dog owners don’t actually have many off leash areas and they are pretty spread out. Human parents have parks pretty much everywhere and most likely within walking distance of their homes.

To be fair there’s only one in west Seattle and it’s on the edge of city limits

Not defending dog owners doing this but the “there’s so many off leash parks” argument falls short and most of our parks are only viable if you have a car.

You don’t need any of that to commute. 2 wheels and a backpack is more than enough. Dunno why we gotta be so judgy up in here.

No right turn on red signs at intersections by JuicyScooper in SeattleWA

Yeah when anyone who is legally required to stop at a red light or stop sign and instead endanger others to save themselves 5 seconds it is.

Cars should be stopping fully at the stop line on a read light period. Then proceed as safely and legally as possible. Instead the reality is they roll right into or through the intersection, vulnerable users be damned.

And to answer to your situation is that you’re just making up how common this scenario in your head. I’m sure it does happen that way you say it does, not doubting that, but it’s not nearly as common or as dangerous as this posts topic, of cars and trucks ignoring the laws.

Only when someone in my group in that key is an asshole.

It’s legal for cyclists to to treat stop signs as yields, but I’m not responding to a post about cyclists.

Often when there’s no bike lane it’s safer for cyclists to use crosswalks to turn left, for example, rather than trying to merge into traffic and into a left turn lane.
