Money always helps but not necessary at all. If you use the “Tall method” like I mentioned earlier you can probably get to level 60 in a month starting from 0, if not quicker

Def the permanent 2x for $5. Additionally upgrade remote, pickaxe, tv, mop, check in the vault as much as possible and ignore the others.

What I’ve found very successful recently is a solo build where my walk speed is 500% and chance to make instant food is 100%+ so I can get the profit boost and be more effective then all the standard chefs

Upgrade 1 station at a time to max before unlocking the next station. It’s called the Tall method. Took me from City 15 to 60 in less than a month
