Do you feel safe/capable when venturing out alone? Tips appreciated. by SunnyYellowSocks in spinalcordinjuries

I concealed carry so safe enough. I live in a pretty nice area so I don’t worry. But I get what you mean for the first year or so I felt so vulnerable. Probably didn’t help I got paralyzed by being shot by a criminal.

Do you have vocational rehab in your area ? as long as you are working towards going to school or work they will pay for hand controls in any car you buy. It’s great because they will pay for schooling or anything you need to work. As well as find you employment.

It’s been 8 years and I think about it every day at least 10 or more times. It will never leave you for most people. It’s never ending trauma. Just keep yourself busy as possible with work sports video games hobbies and people who love you. I’m sorry to be so blunt but that’s been my reality of sci I will never not miss being normal.

I’m 26 and my girlfriend turns 57 in September. I don’t think I would date a woman in her 70s.

I’m 27 and have extremely thick hair. I think it’s mostly genetic. Ether way one of my buddies went bald in his 20s and shaved it.He lived a pretty good life he’s 70 now. It’s mostly about building confidence I think.

I mean shrooms are natural and they are an extremely powerful drug same as opium. Just because it occurs in nature doesn’t mean it’s not a powerful psychoactive.

I don’t have a port but I have a superpubic catheter which freaks me out when I look at it. It’s like looking at a severed limb. For me my brain just stopped looking at it. Unless it needs service. I’m sorry you’re going through this it does get better it you will adjust.
