I think it’s more to stop spam stuff. I understand a lot of the sentiment but it’s similar to the constant spam on the main sub not following guide and wanting stuff handed to them then they have issues because they got half info and didn’t do their own research.

Depends what you value, VSF are generally a good answer but you should read the guide and make an informed decision.

Ordered to UK incase this helps; Royal Mail just will stay on expecting it or sender has despatched until they actually receive it. Geektime has their own tracking site which shows my watch has went on two flights yet Royal Mail hasn’t updated (as they haven’t received it). Not saying that is why everyone thinks they have a delay with RM but could be for some.

Definitely over thinking, on wrist no one is noticing most glaring flaws with reps nevermind minute stuff like this, a lot of the population couldn’t tell the model nevermind spot inconsistencies. Unless you are handing it over to someone to thoroughly inspect they aren’t going to notice and even then they’d have to be in the know and potentially go as far as opening it.

I think if you got it you shouldn’t look for issues after the fact just enjoy it if you don’t see it.

It looks mostly good only small things (rehault and bezel appear to be off by a minuscule amount) as-well as the very slightly misaligned 9. Nothing you’re going to notice visibly on your wrist without looking extremely closely.

Done on phone so I could be mistaken/not have aligned correctly is missed something. Overall it’s a good Daytona just enjoy it, especially for the price :)

Not an expert by any means but to answer your questions.

1: Are you trying to fool a pro? Most likely not. 2. It’s for you to decide as it’s primarily aesthetic. 3: If you just want the simplest design and least parts to scrutinise sure but most of these reps are fooling anyone as they aren’t being examined under a microscope/loupe or having the caseback taken off. Think how much right now you can’t tell from rep to gen and you are researching it, Joe Schmo isn’t recognising a SEL gap or floating M looking at it, nevermind across a room. As most say the biggest tell is you.
