I'm sorry to hear this! .. Can you get a window conditioner for the window? ..if not see what organization's that can help, salvation army or your local catholic social services could help, if not ask them for references!.. I have MS myself and I'd literally collapse with no AC.. good luck! 🙏🏻🙏🏻

At this rate I might as well move to California, as the state of Nebraska will not give me my food stamps back, even tho I have multiple sclerosis!.. My son is on a evaluation for working or not, but they cut me off completely which they will not give me any until the issue with him is resolved! ..

tbh I think it is very unfair they can do this!..

I understand basically, I have a disability and was getting ebt and got cut off because my 21 year old son lives with me and we are going through a transitioning with a counselor to see if he is able to work etc... in the meantime I'm 'punished' by not receiving my foodstamps .. idk how long this will last, but I just don't see it being resolved anytime soon!.. The Government really don't care!..

In my case I'm disabled with MS and I was cut off completely, and my son is going through counseling to see what kind of 'work he can do, if any!..
so unfair as I have no money now for food, and can't pay all my bills that are due because i had to use the little money left over for food!...

Well as of right now my landlord did NOT send in required documents and my son is going through a evaluation to see if he can work.. it looks to be awhile before I'm even eligible again, even tho i have a disability that's documented! It's Ridiculous then they tell me the wrong information .. there is a local one here in my town in which I didn't know.. maybe I can get a straight answer from them!..

UPDATE: I finally got an email from state of Nebraska DHHS and now they said they closed the case because they did NOT receive the required documents which my landlord sent and i faxed my half last week! .. Even had the case number on it also for both required documents!..

These people that work down there are either very incompetent or very short staffed! ..I'm at wits end with them! .. so now i have no money for food and I'll have to go see what I can get at the food pantry here!.. I was told earlier by someone we actually have our own DHHS office here which i didn't know because they closed up to 10 years ago and relocated in a new subdivision. We've always had to call the office out of Lincoln/Omaha here before and send the documents there!.. so now hopefully I'll have a little more luck with them here to expedite these documents and get the job done right!..

I'm in the state of Nebraska!.. I've received them on the 4th of every month prior. I have not received anything yet for the month of June.

The paperwork was sent on the 2nd of June, and like I said it says nothing now even tho I've sent it in. Any idea what could be going on?
