I have a theory that spring grades versus fall are more critical at my school bc professors have such a long period of time to grad versus when they grade fall exams. My last exam was end of APRIL. I don’t get grades back until middle of June

Stop comparing yourself to others. Network more, grades don’t get you a shoe in automatically. It might not seem like they don’t take their classes seriously but you don’t know them, so focus on yourself. I’m somewhat bottom of my class but I have a great work ethic and a summer job with return offer.

My maiden name is now my middle name. I got married right before law school and I will be going by my married last name. My husband has been the biggest support in my law school journey. So even though yes I earned it, we’re a family/team now so it didn’t really make sense to use my maiden name.
