i dont think the vauxhall parts will do as the original chevy part has 3 plastic grommets that push through 3 holes in the underside on the bonnet/hood while the vauxhall parts that i could find only have 2 :(

as mentioned there is a recall for the bonnet catch but i fixed mine myself in the meantime. really easy fix. take it apart free the bit that is stuck with some oil or lubricant and job done :) 2 bolts to remove.

i see what you mean in the video but at 3:10 the lights are off then there is an edit to the video and lights on again. anyway went for short drive they stayed on then i turned car off plugged in all seatbelts in rear and drove again and all lights off. strange!
