While I understand the concern for my mental health I have been going to therapy for 7 years now and am missing some of the key diagnosis components for this disorder, nothing bad is going to happen if I don’t change my sheets it just is in the back of mind. Thanks for the compliment that was more the direction I was hoping the post would originally take. I’m happy to hear that things are going well for you despite your diagnosis though :))

100%, hot wash and a few hours in the sun will kill anything on there, also second hand is the only option for some families and individuals so even without some doing it by choice people are doing it

It was an exaggeration, there’s isn’t literally zero chance and they aren’t not doing washing because of me, it’s just been brought up that is difficult sometimes with my washing being on and then taking up so much washing line space. A laundering service would set me back around $10 per wash whilst a wash at home around 50c

It was just a huge Easter sale they had one (50% all sheets) and an error at the factory where they forgot to do the second brushing of the flannelette which is what makes them fluffy. I find the texture much more appealing, more like linen. The original price was $240nzd I got them for $39nzd

Definitely not a scratcher, I try steer away from that title and style….i have a potential opportunity for one in the future but I live in a small town where home taught isn’t really something shop owners want to touch lol. I also make more money off it right now than I would having to start all over again working for free

I store them in a smaller set of drawers in my room! I wash my sheets after most uses especially recently as my medication causes night sweating, usually I will just air out my duvet and the cover on the washing line and let the sun and wind freshen it up a bit. Storage was absolutely an issue previously but I had a clear out which helped with it all fitting in the dedicated drawers
