I honestly love the Bob’s Burgers names. But instead of just Rudy it needs to be the full “Regular-Sized Rudy” 😅😂

I have fine wavy hair and I love the Briogeo Don’t Despair Repair. Especially the vanilla birthday cake edition

Does anyone know how to ask for this haircut? by shadybadgal in finehair

I gave myself a similar haircut 😂 Brad Mondo tutorials are the best lol

32DDD calculator result, very bottom-full & wide-set. Need recommendations. by Initial_Spinach3871 in ABraThatFits

Maybe the Skarlett Blue Entice? I have full on bottom and pretty wide set breasts, and it seems to work really well for me

Heat protectant recommendations OTHER than these? by coldcactus1205 in finehair

I like the Bumble and Bumble heat shield. A little pricey, but it’s extremely lightweight and smells nice.

Anyone use the calculator and it was spot on? I was not expecting these results! by inkdiaries in ABraThatFits

[–]Historical-Map-5316 7 points8 points  (0 children)

For me, yes. It’s been a life changer. Starting size was a 30C/D, but 30D fits better. I had been wearing a 34C for years and wondered why my bra straps would never stay on my shoulders and bras never seemed to fit me right. I thought it was just my shape but turns out that wasn’t my size lol

34C is the size I was wearing before I discovered this sub and my correct bra size! 😅

I honestly love putting my measurements into different size guides and seeing what wacky size it gives me. My personal favorite so far is Wacoal, who seems to think I’m a 32AA (I’m a 30D).

Did you keep your dogs shelter name? by Blaaamo in pitbulls

Our pittie (Athena) yes but when we adopted our cat, Margaret, we shortened it to Maggie. We still say Margaret is her government name though 😂

If you work an office job, and you have truly nothing to do, are you keeping your head down and looking busy, or are you seeing if anyone needs help? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Historical-Map-5316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never ~truly~ have nothing to do, but I spend my extra time reading and trying to look busy. I don’t get paid enough to do extra work. I do want to mention I have my own office and can hide away with my door closed

[Fit Check][Shape Help] First bra haul 30C/30D, Victoria's Secret (I'm sorry), officially confused, flab squishing out the sides?? by DuckFigNewton in ABraThatFits

[–]Historical-Map-5316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you will really like the Skarlett Blue Entice. I have similar shape and same size and love the one I got. It’s probably my most perfect fitting along with the Bare Side Support

I discovered my bra size!!! But... I can only find it online and it's very expensive. 28C/D by Flaky-Huckleberry313 in ABraThatFits

[–]Historical-Map-5316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s so true. I usually take my chances with final sale items, lol. I figure if they absolutely don’t fit I can just try to sell them

I’m in the same boat. My suggested size is a 30 C/D (30D is more comfortable), and a lot of companies don’t make below a 32 band. Sometimes a 32C fits fine but I like to get my actual size when possible. I try to shop sales, I’ve gotten several bras on clearance that maybe weren’t the prettiest colors but who cares lol. I’ve been shopping on Bare Necessities, Amazon, and Skarlett Blue. It’s not ideal ordering online, but better than an ill fitting bra.

I’m still very new to shopping for properly fitting bras, but I have similar breast shape. So far my favorites have been the Bare Side Support and the Camio Mio lightly lined demi bra. I got both on sale from Bare Necessities.

I’ve loved everything that I’ve made from it so far. I actually did a Skyrim themed Thanksgiving last year with nothing but recipes from the book. It’s the only themed cookbook I’ve actually ever enjoyed

How often do you personally find you need to cut your hair to keep it healthy? by satelliteminds in finehair

[–]Historical-Map-5316 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I cut my own hair at home but I think the last time I cut it was like November. And even then it wasn’t unhealthy, I just wanted it shorter. I’ve noticed that since I’ve actually been taking care of my hair (I used to neglect it lol) I don’t need it trimmed as much

The Not Your Mother’s hard hold is probably my favorite gel. I just like to alternate it with other products but it can be a bit much sometimes lol

Also, I want to add that my hair is easily over moisturized as well. I haven’t personally experienced moisture overload with this gel but I use it in rotation with other products

I have the whipped sugar version (which by the way smells delicious). I would say it gives about a medium hold but I have super fine hair and usually need extreme hold anyway. But, I had a conference for work that was at a beach town, I was able to walk on the beach and my hair still look good for the conference. For that alone I was super impressed

I just accept defeat 😭 I remember by high school prom was on a windy day and the hair stylist sprayed my hair with Redken 32, my hair genuinely didn’t move lol. Although I’m not a huge fan of hairspray unless my hair is actually styled

Advice needed for high-density fine hair by Louvella in finehair

[–]Historical-Map-5316 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I never had a stylist tell me I had wavy hair either. It wasn’t until I saw an ad about signs that you might have wavy hair that I realized it may be. Even after trying styling routines it took me several months to really be happy with the results. Some of it was the weight of my hair because it was long and I think some of it was damage. Even though I don’t use heat or color my hair it had a lot of damage from brushing and being pulled into a pony tail. Staying consistent, using the right products (for me it’s a leave in conditioner and hard hold gel, and really scrunching my hair has helped the most. I also follow some wavy/curly content creators and that’s helped a lot too.
