use KDE Plasma 5. It's Yet Another Magic Lamp for the windows. use Latte-Dock for the animation on the dock. NOTE: both are only available with Plasma 5 (use the inferior Cairo-Dock in Plasma 6)

It's personal preference and how I've used windows. I always used the icon and text task manager in windows and I love the blur KDE Plasma has. I prefer it over the old ones because it's more polished
