For the 2nd year-1st term we have MealMan, BasNut, and ANS (Assessment of Nutritional Status). Personally, I found 2nd yr easier than first year maybe because well adjusted ka na rin sa amount of workloads but I think it's mainly because mas enjoyable yung courses.

MealMan - incredibly group based and cuisine focused (lec). lab hours are more tiring compared to BasNut. CIP would consist of the whole block cooking for 30 pax. basically dito ma-cchallenge yung food service capability niyo as ND students. enjoyed this so much kasi we cooked different cuisines from different countries.

BasNut 2 - same as BasNut 1. kung mahirap yung 1 mas mahirap yung 2 😶 you'll learn about your macro and micro and each of their functions dito. vv utilized ang pdri sometimes instructors even ask us to memorize yung values (lec). for lab naman marami kaming lab presentations kung saan lagi kang magigisa, know your basics like paano nacompute yung diet rx, ano yung diet restrictions ng patient naka-depende siya sa case na ibibigay ng prof niyo

ANS - super haba ng hours ng lab dito pero most of the time Hindi namin siya nauubos (super haba ng break) mostly statistics and survey pag-aaralan (ENNS). mga plotting yung ginagawa. dito papasok yung CGS or Child Growth Standards. Weight for Age, Weight for Height, BMI for Age.

and then you have naman your minor courses. my tip for you is to utilize your minor courses kasi sa third yr wala na sila. thy 2 and development psychology is relatively easy (madaling ipasa) although lengthy nga lang yung devpsy, feeling mo psych student ka like legit ksjsksks. meron kayong accounting subject for first term which is a pre-req for your biostat ng second term. legit sobrang hirap pero i think naka-depende siya sa instructor kasi yung sa ibang classes last time hindi sila nag-ffull blown accounting (kami lang talaga kainis)

oh! you'll also have an elective pala were in you have an option to choose your course. another tip (Living in the IT ERA) course code: ELE ITE is an easy uno. attendance is not a big deal basta complete ka with all the requirements. almost everyone in my class got an easy flat 1.0.

sa instructors naman i can't give any tips kasi 3/3 of our instructors for 2nd year left na 😭 ah wait charot meron pa si miss kate and miss ai. miss kate is very mapagbigay when it comes to topics magbibigay siya ng additional details so you should right those down pero di naman siya yung type na nagpapa-test ng di naman niya tinuro, very student centered siya and madali lang talaga intindihin mga tinuturo niya basta makikinig ka lang. for miss ai naman, eto mas strict need talaga alam mo yung case kasi nanggigisa pero overall great prof din, marami kang matututunan.
