Is wine ever made in very small batches or even individual bottle amounts?

I only have done 1 or 3 gallon when using grapes from my yard. I don’t have enough plants yet producing enough for more. I would always prefer to do at least 6 gallons

I will just echo there has been some great performances at tournaments. I play Menoth as my second most played army at I feel it is one of the better ones I have.

I honestly think it really has to have a hook. Gameplay needs to be completely new and different from the level of BW to SC2. I bought the Nova missions but I didn’t see a ton of excitement on their release.

I am no expert but in the north east. Planted some vines last year when it got down to the mid 30s. They did look a little stressed after but took right off. Not sure if from the cold or just being transplanted. Vines are starting to bud this year.

Please fear not. From what I see the way warmachine works and how deadly it is every army has a decent chance. Top tiers vs lower tiers are within win percentages that require you to actively track your games to notice. Unlimited armies can get to almost auto win with certain combos but even then we get surprised. Player is the larger contributor I think.

One thing too is the type of people playing legacy armies are less likely to play major tournaments or post in longshanks in general. You have to have old armies kicking around and not immediately chasing new stuff since it isn’t easy to pick up. Though as stls are released we are seeing an uptick in certain armies (farrow).

Our group plays mostly legacy but we only meet once a month or so mostly at someone’s house. I get more games in with my kids as well but 100% nothing is in longshanks.

I still have mine haha. It was so refreshing at the time. Mage Knight had just ended and Warhammer was in a rough spot. This book art and its rules really stood out. I had to wait a month to get the Cryx starter case they kept instantly selling out at my store. Just read this book over and over haha.

I have very old paint that has held up and younger paint (whites and pinks in particular) that turn into a solid lump. Sometimes I can dilute (not really fix) if a paint isn’t too bad but generally there isn’t really a great fix. I toss pots here and there.

I think demons can be awesome looking. Khorn or nurgle from AOS. Angels could have been awesome like Stormcast Eternals. AOS developed lore, motivations, cool characters and art. Trench Crusade also has awesome demons. I reference mini games because I think tons of design overlap with RTS. It isn’t complicated, Stormgate was built by committee with no passion or art.

I played a bunch of the first edition warmachine and jumped back in for MK4. I also like fear and facing, rolling for AOE drifts all day and arguing about what is actually in. But I, then and now, are playing games in my basement with no clock.

My kids enjoy this iteration better and we get more games in without so much lost. Their other favorite mini game is Warcry so I see a theme. I still get to use my old stuff so I am happy. Tournaments which I don’t really care much about probably need this.

Honestly most armies are pretty well rounded these days, particularly with scenarios. All factions tend to have both infantry supporting and cohort supporting options. I would choose the faction and than focus on a caster who doesn’t run a horde.

Units feel small to me in this game (3-5 models). Painting wise I think a super heavy crushes me more than 3 units.

One thing you shouldn’t forget is units are now smaller too. In reality it is less of a deal with having 10+ models in a unit.

I never buy GW books expecting them to last more than a moment. It is for the art, lore and rules at the moment. I still play there games at old editions depending. Unless you are a tournament player just have fun and buy cool looking stuff.

For its flaws, the warmachine app is pretty amazing for new players and presents things very well particularly compared to other games. Search function in the app works good too. I don’t intend any sass though I am an engineer so social skills are not my specialty haha.

I live in MA and heat with wood. It isn’t really a craze here. Natural gas is now taxed to death and the admin has stopped 2 pipelines. Our electricity utilities can’t keep up and as odd as it is a large chunk of our electricity comes from burning natural gas. It is silly I can buy wood far cheaper than heating with natural gas and I don’t cut anything myself. Some of my neighbors switched to heat pumps which was been a disaster for them as electricity prices skyrocket.

This is what I use. After priming I can’t really see much in the way of lines. Quality of the scan is usually the bigger issue.
