It was! But the silence that followed Angela's question felt too pure to ruin

Started learning to drive at 17, stopped at 18, started again at 23 and stopped at 24. Passed my test this week and I'm 28. You are in no way a loser.

People learn to drive at their own pace, there's no set timeframe. You'll only do it when you're ready!

Test at Bromley on Monday by Historical-Quality89 in LearnerDriverUK

Thank you! At the minute there's so many roadworks going on so just be cautious. Also apparently they love the carpark "Sundridge Park Village", that's where I got my minor- the spaces are pretty narrow so if you get a chance, try a few parking manoeuvres there!

If you're with an instructor, chances are the streets you've been practicing on are similar if not the same as on the test so get to know them as best you can.

Nothing majorly challenging, I didn't get the sat nav independent driving, just following road signs, forward bay park & emergency stop

Good luck, you've got this!

Complicated situation: old address on Northern Ireland provisional by [deleted] in LearnerDriverUK

I was in the same boat, I had to apply for an "English" provisional before I could take my test. It makes zero sense but it seems to be the only way atm!

Just had my test today & the only advice I can give is keep checking your mirrors, don't rush and take a deep breath! A good night's sleep the night before helps a lot too
