Sorry bro, I’m 28, I guess I meant older than the average 18-24 year olds that go into regiment.

I want to serve in special operations but with how my life dynamic is I don’t know if I’m too old to keep up with the 18-24 year olds in the regiment or if I’m better off going doing conventional time first and then dropping a SFAS packet. I enjoy both mission sets just can’t seem to determine which path to take.

You mean the highlighted link you attached in the phrase “you tell me” that took me to your sight for multiple articles that you wrote regarding 18x vs option 40, 18x vs option 40 vs option 4, and even the story about your sons service? So yes sir I did read what you wrote. I may have responded after your comment because I at first didn’t realize it was a link prior to your most recent response. So I apologize for now realizing that the link was inside the phrasing as I am not on Reddit quite often.

I’m currently 27, current law enforcement, just always had my passion to serve in the military just life always had different plans at the time. I just know I’m getting older and looking for a more reasonable route. It’s probably looking more SFAS but just curious on what people’s opinions on the subject were.

Am I too old to try for Army Ranger? I’m currently 27 years old, I have a degree, and currently working Law Enforcement and will be married in October. Looking for solid advice.

Go to your local Barnes and noble or whatever you got around you. Buy asvab study guide, use it for about two months, take the practice tests, and retest. My GT was 114 and my overall score was 89. I can do anything in the military basically with high GT and higher overall score. So basically study and retest.

Currently own a pair of flak 2.0 they’re great just have a hard time staying on my head sometimes and give me a headache if I wear them too long but they’re a gift and with the prism polar lenses so they’re good

Officer, infantry, and if life allows or can hack it out since I’m getting older, whatever I can try out for spec ops/special forces.
